125 ranger keeps killing the twisted swordfish -even lowest level nuke hits for over 7k -one shotting the mob..
 
Still very happy with your script and I add this situation just to make sure I'm not ruining your hard work with my incompetence.
Ran into an issue with the Ranger 1.5. My toon didn't pick up a whittling knife (steps 17 - 19) but then did pick up all other foraged items and head to PoK to perform all of the other combines. The script failed so I went and got the knife myself and manually skipped to step 62. Now my toon runs to sirens grotto and stands still saying its going to load a low level skill (burning arrow) but does nothing, The twitching swordfish is up is SG but my toon doesn't navigate to it. Am I supposed to handle this delicate combat myself? the swordfish needs damaging to 20% and capturing and such things have been a ballache on other epics I have tried before downloading this script. My toon is 110+ and is running MQ2Ranger for combat automation. Also if I reload the game and MQ the script defaults to step 28 and tries to run me back from sirens grotto to PoK and try the combines again.
It should have saved at step 61 (the end of the combines) so that is odd. I tested the whittling knife part and ran into no issues, I will keep an eye out for more reports on this. As for the twitching swordfish, you should be able to navigate to it, and the script should do its best to not kill the mob (which is admittedly not that well.) When it froze trying to mem burning arrow, did it mem the spell? Do you have the spell scribed?

The Github link you posted is down. Also, Ranger Pre1.5 won't nav to Targen. Maybe you use a better Nav than I have? Thats why I was looking to use the github link, so I can see if you posted one.

for pally 1.5 step 175 this havocblade needs to be farmed any of the spiritbrutes are PH for the havocblade and the blood is a very rare drop, so going in to a hunter tank of 400 from the center of the temple to kill all the Mastruqs around and even up on the top area where you have to use pull ability too.

There was an issue with the command to have it loot the blood here, i have corrected that. I have also added the spiritbrutes to the list of mobs to be killed to get more havocblades to spawn.

Ranger 1.5 Pre-quest, flawless except one part running to torgian mines (sp) halfling shortarse didnt nav up the ladders. got him up manually, continued on and completed it.

doing 1.5 now.

This part is a bane upon my existance. I tried to find a good way to ascend the ladder but have yet to find a way that is entirely reliable. I will mark it in my notes to do some further testing.

This is odd, I am not sure what was happening here. Was he moving at all? Were there any messages from MQ2Nav as it was attempting to go through these steps?

Regardless I have put in a small fix that *might* help prevent this issue.

Pally 1.5 step 189 did not loot the potamide seaweed strands left on corpse, adv loot is on and working and corpse rotted

This will be fixed in the next version.

burning arrow one shot it so memmed the 14 level spell manually and it still one shot the mob. gonna try loading lowest level ds and let mob beat on ranger-might take awhile..

It never got to the end of the combines because I didn't have the knife so I may have borked myself by doing the last combine myself before restarting the script. It didn't mem the spell, I didn't already have it memmed, and i DID have it scribed so no clue. Currently trying to not 2 shot the fish having removed all my buffs and facing away with a net in hand. Fingers crossed :) You've done amazing work

Captured the fish using 2x flaming arrow which got it to <10% same with the mosquito. Both times my toon traveled to the zone beautifully and then stood just inside the entrance doing nothing and I had to pause the script and walk my ass to the mobs and handle the capture. Way easier than doing everything myself but deff. not working as intended.

Thank you for this Lua, it has been amazingly easy to use - got my SHD up to the Anguish step for 2.0 with little difficulty.

However, I wanted to point out a couple issues.

When choosing the option to use INVIS while traveling, it would cast the appropriate spell, move the character a few feet, then cast it again. Doing this repeatedly until the option was unchecked. I could INVIS myself with a hotkey np with this option un-checked and everything was fine. (Easily worked around the problem.)

Also, when choosing to return to bind it left the script in a loop, constantly trying to return to bind/origin but it did nothing. I've been pausing the Lua and using Philters to return to bind after long trips.

Everything else worked amazingly well, very pleased with it for sure.
 
Pally 2.0 step 136 have 275 skill combined and failed and it just moved on to the step where I am supposed to hand what I just tried to make and failed to the person in step 141 in kaladim, should put a check to see if you actually make it or fail and then return to the LDON to farm another sand verbena or at least stop it
 
paladin epic 2.0 step 150 give quiver of marr to shin master grubbus, the quiver needs to be empty of arrows, otherwise the Lua just sits there and hands in the quiver over and over and over indefinitely.

As for the zoning in and standing around, you mean in Siren's Grotto and in Cazic Thule? Both of those require updated meshes to navigate properly. Run the mesh updater and grab the latest meshes that are available.

When it was attempting to cast the invis skill itself, was the invis landing on your character or did it move to soon and interrupt the spell? You have the Cloak of Shadows AA right?

As for returning to bind, it uses /relocate gate to do so. does this command use Philters properly? do you have mq2relocate loaded?

Rog 1.5 pre sticks at #16 deal you a hand. once you cash out and head to shar vahl it finishes nicely.

I did a dumb when i rewrote the gamble function. It will be fixed int he next version.

Pally 2.0 step 47 the 6 players need to be in zone in Felwithe to get the expedition

I have added a check to insure the group size is 6 and that all 6 players are within the zone.

I have added a check to insure the combine succeeded. If it fails it will loop back to step 86 and re-farm the Sand Verbenna and repurchase the items necessary and attempt the combine again.

Since there is already a pausing of the script fired off if you do not have the Quiver of Marr I have simply updated the messaging to indicate that the quiver should be emptied as well. I would prefer to avoid having to manually empty the quiver because inventory manipulation is where the script is most error prone. If users are still unhappy with this change I will look into having it empty the quiver as well.

Did the rogue 1.5, only manual intervention needed was when i failed the combine for the Aligned Mace.

I will look into adding checks for rogue 1.5 combines being completed successfully. This will take a significant amount of work (since the quest is 3 billion steps longs) so it will not be a high priority.

I'm not 125 but getting the mob to the required hp threshold was tricky. 1 Burning arrow was not enough and 2 killed the mob. I ended up taking off all buffs and using Flaming Arrow 2x letting the mob regen between to reach the threshold and then facing away with attack off to avoid riposte damage. All 4 captures were achieved with this method though it takes a full minute of just standing there for the item to appear on the cursor. Similar stall points after zone in occurred with all 4 beasts.

I had the latest meshes installed when I attempted this section and my toon navigated through sirens grotto before and after this step including passing the location of the fish without issue. I had MQ2Ranger loaded the first time and unloaded on later trys. After I got the collects I skipped to step 102 and restarted the script and it has worked perfectly since. I will keep you apprised of any further issues.

Pally 2.0 after killing gorgalosk step 276 it does not register and advance to moving to Siran

Ive added a small check to the function there to check for a corpse, hopefully this will correct this.

This is most likely an issue with finding a navigation path to the NPC. (I need to improve messaging around this)

I assume the foraged piece you refer to was the Golanda nut? How many did you have out of the eight it wanted?
 
Just as a quick reminder to everyone:

The more info you provide me on the error you encountered, the more likely I am to be able to determine the issue and fix it.

Please include all pertinent information. What step was it, what happened, what did you think should happen?

Grab the logs and include those. While I am sure a lot of it looks to be an absolute nightmare of spam and pointless information, the information provided in the logging can make it much faster for me to identify the specific issue.

Did you do too much damage and kill a mob? Please include your level so I can gauge how much lower I need to go with the nuke that will be used.

Was the script moving and then stopping every few feet, over and over again? Let me know what your settings for Epic Laziness are. Invis is on and speed is off? Great! I need to know that. What level are you? If you are level 75 and the script is trying to use a skill available at 85, that also tells me a great deal.

No mater how pointless you think whatever information the script has given you is, remember that I put that information there for a reason. Please let me use it.

More info would be helpful. Namely, what level is your ranger that had thiese problems?

This is a group of 3 , SHM running MQ@Shaman, WAR MQ\War and bard with RGMercs Lua.

Not sure what is causing this. Tried skimming through using search and did not see anything.

Off hand there are a few things that could cause this.

Invis while traveling, and use speed skill. If it is unable to invis or cast a speed skill (when one *should* be available) it will cause the stutter step routine.

Try turning them both off and see if it behaves properly. Off hand I would guess that it is most likely an invis issue because the war is failing to invis.
 
Monk pre 1.5 is unable to get to Cedrick step 8

Sorry i managed to overlook your message for a couple days.

Grab the latest cobal scar mesh via the mesh updater and it will nav to Cedrick.

When waiting should have combat automation active rather than paused so you dont have grey mob kill you while waiting.

While in the wait loop it checks for targets on your xtarget list, and kills them if that number is <= the number you have set for xtargets in the settings tab.

Toon is 116 and atm she's free to play but I have 33k AAs. All of the sections where a mob had to be brought to low health had the same issue. Toon would nav to the appropriate zone perfectly and then stall at the step where it had to check if it needed a lower level spell "checking if character above 95" or similar message in the window and nothing happening with the toon. The first capture took several failed attempts and some fine tuning to find a method that worked reliably. All of the mobs that needed killing, combines, forages, and hand ins were handled correctly. Small issue with the hand in of the Spring Dogwood Seed to Corun Fisnic failing but I just followed him until he stood still and completed that myself. First attempt at Uisima section Uisima did not spawn and for the second attempt I had all MQ unloaded so I can't speak to the efficacy of the script for that encounter though Uisima has a decent hp pool so probably more forgiving than the other sections. Similarly with Spiritbinder Trenzar. Senvial beat themselves to death on a DS i missed the first time I attempted and second time i had everything unloaded and handled the combat myself. I think i know the problem here, I will investigate it.

First attempt at Uisima section Uisima did not spawn and for the second attempt I had all MQ unloaded so I can't speak to the efficacy of the script for that encounter though Uisima has a decent hp pool so probably more forgiving than the other sections. Similarly with Spiritbinder Trenzar.

It is possible the trigger for Uisima to spawn was not up at the time you approached.

Senvial beat themselves to death on a DS i missed the first time I attempted and second time i had everything unloaded and handled the combat myself. Sorry that I cannot offer more information.

With the script running, it *should* remove any DS's you have applied. Was this done with or without the script?

Looting both items and skipping to step 20 resolved the issue.
step 28 failed to climb the ladder. Pulled to the left, got stuck, and fell off. Tried with previous and 0.3.39 versions of EL both with same issue

Toggling "Use travel speed skills" to off stopped this but even then when I self cast Spirit of eagles with the script on it would immediately fade. With the script paused it would stay on.

Earlier today I put in some changes to fix that, as well as something to hopefully make characters less prone to killing mobs that they shouldnt.

The change that went in earlier today should have corrected the standing around stuck waiting with a corpse on the ground. Did this happen on 0.3.39 or the previous version?

It is possible the trigger was not up when you entered the room initially, I will give this a look tomorrow.

Unfortunately I won't be able to do Berzerker until after hardcore heritage ends.

War pre 1.5 step 54 pathing got my gnome trapped near brew barrel all other steps, start to finish, completed flawlessly with minimal supervision

Bard 1.5 steps 72-74 toon failed trying to get through the door to the underground section resulting in spamming the MQ window with messages, so I /unload ed everything and ran about by myself collecting them

Kill Essence of Kreljnok. Mob was dead and not looting the essence. Step stuck at waiting for him to spawn. Hand looted the item and manually did the combine for the epic 2.0
