Release Epic Laziness (2 Viewers) v0.4.25

First want to say the job done with this lua is amazing. Really saves massive amounts of time when you have to plan the steps for your epic. I was feeling really lazy about doing the shaman epic again :D
This weekend did all the epic quests series for the shaman starting from scratch: 1.0, 1.5 and just few hours ago finished the shaman 2.0. Many of the issues i was waiting to post today were already solved in lasts patches (that was really quick)
Just will give my opinion on how the automation handle the diferent situations that maybe are far from ideal sometimes.
When trying to run the quest solo, duo or grouping found its a lot easier to go solo than any other options. This is because many variables can get you "out of the line" and some of them mostly are related to movement to next stages, agro, adds, pathing, your own configuration of the boxed toons... so with more toons, more variables and easy to mess up. I found when i did some parts with my group to test it, was better if i set the options lilke when im alone and control the group outside that lua automation. Also want to insist that at my shaman level (106) alone or in group did not found any major issue that prevent me to finish the quest, and with the new adition tab to go direcctly to the stage number you need is even easier.
The major issues i found, and i saw are being adressed or already you fix it by now, was:
1. In the shaman 1.0 with the lockpicking part. That was funny because even with the stone key in my inventory or the door opened keep saying i need a lockpicker :D. When i picked the bard, all was easy. I was you did some updates about that but i havent the oportunity now to test them
2. In shaman 1.5 the howling stones part was impossible to do with the program but did it manual. I know the the main problem is the meshes and the are itself with all the traps doesnt help, but just saying because was the only real part i found really impossible to do in automode. Also saw you did some fixes, but i finished it before that.
3. In shaman 2.0 no major issues than myself mistakes setting up the options. I was distracted in some stages with RL and was surprised how quick did all the steps.

Many of the travel problems i saw yesterday disapperared today with the fixes, The combat automation was just ok with CWNT plugins and the bard with RGmercs. The bard caused most of the trouble mokst of the time, to the point to set it in pause myself, CWNT plugins were paused auto and no need my assistance, except when i wanted faster travel or porting. Im sure when you implement more travel options this will be for sure the fastest possible way to do the epics with nimimal effort.

To conclude, want to say this resource as an "assistant" for the epic quests is amazing, you can run it and with the new text additions i only check external webpages to see if it matches with i needed to do. I was afraid as iksar shaman will find some difficulties with factions or maybe with main city towns and no problem at all. I did the quest series in 2 diferent computers and jumped from one to the other skipping patts already done in 1 pc to run it in the other with no problem, i added toons and removed, i stepped back and foward when needed, i ported and changed the starting point for some travel stages even when paused the program and just steped back followed with a foward and the program resumed no problem (and with the new updates is even beefier than yesterday to this stress). And for that reason is why im saying is an excellent assistant. Real people are a pain in the ass :D and in total automation is easy something goes wrong with your own configuration, but as a helper for those epic quests is all you need (at least with the shaman quest lines) Can wait to see the evolution of these program with more tools added for traveling. Hope they were ready to test when you get more epic quests finished.

Unfortunately the functions for having a character/group tag along are some of the least tested, least robust features in the script. They definitely need work to be just a tiny bit more functional.

1. We're going to call this an "easter egg" lol. If you do have the key the door will open. But it still expects a picker and will still stop the script there. In the SK epics at the step to kill Ghiosk it actually just farms for the key and uses that to get inside. I went with the choice of having the shaman epic require a picker for all 4 of the locked doors/switches. Technically two of them can be opened with a key. (Stone key for front door, key from Neh`Ashiir for the elevator.) But since there are still two that absolutely require a picker I just made the choice to use a picker for all 4.

2. Previously I was trying to do some shenanigans to skip going through the south wing to reach the east wing. It simply was not reliable enough to count on so I made a few changes in the navmesh to have it path through the south wing to reach the east wing instead. With the latest changes, and navmesh, it should be a much cleaner experience to complete the steps in the shaman and sk epic that take place in Howling Stones.

3. I'm glad it worked well for you!

Seems to work great however like stated it is in beta and needs to be baby sat most of the way as it seems, Cleric epic 1.5 prequest did most of it (i let it run afk) and it didnt successfully hand in the 4 items at the end so unsure where it went wrong. Will try to find it. on 1.5 it seemed to skip the looting portion of Aegis of Chaotic Worship with the 2 steps previous.

Shaman epic 1.0 went most of the way after I redid the beginning part 4 times. kept getting stuck with the 4 mobs in the water that you have to wait for them, The final time it did not loot the small gem, so i had to manually loot it. but caught it in time, and then just reran the lua and it finished it off for most part, when getting to lock picking step it bugged out and just kept killing Reavers, didnt go to Lord Rak’ashirr and finish the remainder, however it worked great for 85% of it and It seems to be a great thing to do! some zones the nav mesh does suck and doesnt work on my end, may just be my side unsure.

I will take a look at the section dealing with Aegis of Chaotic Worship.

For the shaman 1.0 section in the water. What was happening at this step when it was supposed to be talking to them? Did it not travel to them and speak upon their spawning? Any additional details you can provide on how it failed here would be incredibly helpful. More information on what happened with the small gem would be helpful as well. This should appear on your cursor upon saying the final phrase to the greater spirit. I will take a look at the reavers/rak`ashiir portion.

Finally, with regards to navmeshes. Are you running the latest meshes from https://github.com/yb-f/meshes ?
 
Cleric 1.5 I have all 3 items but when i go to turn it in i get a "The shield glows for a moment, but it remains unchanged. There seems to be more you need to do before it can be attuned to you."
Do you mean the end of the 2.0?

I remember Giligat being exceedingly stupidly difficult to path to via MQ2Nav. But I thought I had fixed the issue with the navmesh changes that I made. Can you verify you are running the navmesh for iceclad ocean from https://github.com/yb-f/meshes ?

Most of today was spent working on getting Rogue 1.5 ready. This has been a HUGE undertaking due to all the farming and tradeskilling required. So far it is up to 778 steps, and I still have a good bit more to add. Hopefully I will have this done and tested in the next day or two.
 
Shm Epic 1.5
Navigates to Dranik Scar with step 190 which works. Upon zone in it just skips steps 191- 205. Then gets stuck looping step 205 and 206 repeatedly standing at zone in.

Still a little buggy. Zones into Dranik Scar. Immediately tries to kill the Priest of discord. Then decides to run to step 207 location.. and just loops 207 and 208 over and over.

Go ahead and try the version I just uploaded. If it still has the issue it is an issue in the functions rather than the DB and I will have to look at it after I get some sleep.

Yeah. It's going to be in the function somewhere. It still immediately went to kill Priest of Discord. Then repeated same issue. Ran to step 207 location then loops 207-208. Killed a ukun. No item dropped. Gated. Then ran back to Dranik Scar. Rinsed and repeated. Second time back; it looped 207-208 until another ukun. Killed it. No items dropped. Gated. Ran back.

I'd assume there is no farm/search function implemented between 207 and 208. Along with the looting of the the perfect marked ukun skin.

Version: Latest downloaded prior to run

1. I forgot to check the box for invis when running to places before I began. In EW, I got aggroed by something, killed it and then the script did not automatically continue running itself to the next zoneline.
2. I had multiple occurrences of looting one of the quest pieces getting hung up in the advloot window. I do not know if you expect auto loot for no drop items to be on or not but mine are default to prompting. My two scenarios were:
a. WL giant hunting. Killed first giant, looted fine. Second giant, looted but then did not accept the no drop so it sat there in the window. Same thing happened with third head causing the script not to move onto the next step.
b. Iceclad killing: Killed everything without a hitch, went to loot, got stuck on the scroll and one of the heads. The other 2 heads looted without an issue. The other two items required some manual intervention.

Despite those two things, it overall did what it was supposed to do! Thanks for the continued work!
 
completed SHM 1.5 and 2.0 with some polite prodding. Have to laugh when on POSky that instead of turning in the potion to the pegasus he just yeeted himself back to Wfreeport. I feel ya buddy!
2.0 nicely prechecked for the prefarmed items like the globe and handed in after the necklace without a hitch
Also the script handled Girplan really well too. Beeps on combat in that spawn so i could work/do other things while waiting.

Ive completed Bard 1.5/2, sham pre 1.5/1.5/2. and rog pre 1.5

Love the outline tab if i hit a snag. I know right where to go comparing my steps against what im doing or where im hitting a weird event.

Something i did when i fought the Dire mobs was equipped a fishing pole in primary and nothing in secondary. then i set it up on Bando to swap to normal weps after the dragon spawned. did not have an issue on any of the dire fights after i failed the griffon the first go round.

1. Was anything left on xtarget at the time? What was the status text while it was frozen?

2. I do not use no droploot confirmations on my end. I thought I had a fix put in place for it, but I will look again and give it a test before sending it out.

If the script is saying something about "Farming blah blah blah" than any pulling and mob selection is done by whatever class automation script is being ran.

If it says "Killing blah blah blah" than mob selection is being handled by Epic Laziness. I currently do not have anything to check if a pc is near the npc we want to kill, but this is something i can work on adding

ok seems like with the way this Lua is working would be fairly simple in comparison but i dont know anything about writing script so i would have no idea lol.

Great job on the Epics though this is an amazing thing and i will prolly keep my sub for it for years to come lol.

It wouldn't be hard. Just kind of a pita. Kick is probably being used there by /autoskill kick. So in order to make the function work for all classes it would also have to look a bash, slam, backstab etc. And there (so far as I have found) is no way to check if autoskill is on or off. So it would have to create an event to watch for the messages for whether it turned off or on.
 
wow, safe to say i will be purchasing this, would cut down on a lot of these stupid quests i find myself doing a million times cheers. Anyone done the cleric 1.5-2.0 yet? I'm probably gonna buy it and do it tonight but was just curious.

Goes to E Freeport to use AOC for PofSky, FTP and Silver cannot use AoC. Easiest to likely use free GH, but guild-less characters would need a wiz port or Relm M`Loch in the Plane of Tranquility.

EDIT !!!! : Woah, @Lisie did you change the above pattern already? I had to stop and wait for Island 3 boss to respawn because he got killed too early and Sirran despawned on me. When I killed the boss and Sirran spwaned, Shm ran off the island to freeport, and I was like WOAH dude we have one more island to go. Well he ran to guild hall (free) and went to air and ran through all islands, now keyed and took care of business. WOOT

Step 50-51 or 52 Cannot find path to NPC Tailor Kujen (walked right up to him and cannot find him standing next to him)
Step 53 reorganized a 20 slot bag and gave me the error below about not finding a Large Sewing Kit, we are standing right next to Tailor Kujen in PoK who is directly next to a Loom. Use Loom, no need to do a bag check.

did notice an issue with the BL 1.5 Epic i had to go back and find where it messed up at. had to go through a few steps again. but found the issue. after i took the letter around and spoke to the NPC's i needed to talk to insted of going back to sharvhal and turning it in to continue. it had me go to Cobalt Scar and had no idea why then when i went to sharvhal it did not update the letter correctly. so when i went back i paused it then skipped the cobalt scar step and went to sharvhal step and turned in the letter just fine and continued on from there so far so good. will update if i find anything else.

The handling of plane of sky is incredibly stupid currently. And one of the things I am least happy with.

It goes up first via AoC to farm for keys to the 4th island. Because going in to the non instanced version can be a pain for the stuff you need to key. But then in posky instances, sometimes the Eternal Spirit is hesitant to spawn, so it goes back to posky via the guild portal to where Eternal Spirit will hopefully be up. I am almost positive i will be rewriting this section at some point.

At this part it has just concluded giving the letter to Diddugu in Western Wastes. The way it is set up is to go from WW -> CS, to insure it takes the proper path to Shar Vahl. What I did not consider with this is that it is really stupid if you are using gate pots.
