Problem - Crashing / Loosing toons when boxing after patch

Sorry was only a fix for ISboxer. The aa thing is getting looked at today
 
Yeah just noticed war and zerker poofed as soon as i went for a pull :/

And btw. The war is the first one to. But im not runnin kiss on him. So obviously a /melee glitch.
 
i can help collect data if needed, my warrior just crashed opening a bag from inventory, it seems to be reproducible

interesting that is i unload mq2nav and click bag it CTD with no error in the logs
 
Crashes are due to loading OLD plugins with a new mq2main.
If you crash delete all plugins update to a fresh dir. bottom line is if you load a old plugin that has not been updated you will crash.

I will not be looking into this any further.
If u still crash it still means u have a old version of a plugin that gets loaded.
You say you replaced them all 100% for sure?
No, you failed. For sure, one was locked because MQ2 was already running, or windows had it locked or whatever, for some reason it wasn’t replaced, or your macroquest.ini has a plugin that’s old which you haven’t updated after patchday that’s still checked for load.

If you are running MQ2 just fine, no crash and kiss runs your group just fine, join me in saying so in this thread.
I want to know how many people are having a good experience with MQ2 after patch.

A simple “me neither” will suffice.
 
I've been playing all day and haven't crashed once but I did a clean installation because of the ISBoxer/MQ2 issue that you fixed so I'm not running old DLLs.
 
Works perfect on my Computers mate Running with these plugins mq2aaspend , mq2advpath , mq2bzsrch , mq2cast , mq2chatwnd , mq2custombinds , mq2dannet ,
mq2debuffs , mq2discord , mq2easyfind , mq2eqbc , mq2eqbugfix , mq2eqwire , mq2exchange , mq2gmcheck , mq2hud , mq2itemdisplay , mq2labels , mq2moveutils ,
mq2nav , mq2nonagwindows , mq2posse , mq2rez , mq2targetinfo and I haven't had a problem at all.
 
Mine is only doing it when I use auto_WAR for my warrior... if I run him with the normal /mac kissassist, I have no issues
 
I completely uninstalled. Removed everything. And still get the crash. EQMULE, when you say that, I am not sure what else to remove. It only effects my tanks....all other characters work fine.
 
If anyone has a tank character that crashes frequently, please contact me to set up a screenshare. I'd like to watch & ask you a few things about your system. I'll be checking your .dll dates, renaming your eqclient.ini, and removing "compatiblity" settings on mq2 and eq.
 
Here's where we're at so far with the tank crashes:

The same MQ2 running the same kiss & melee .ini will not crash on all PCs. I've had users try the same config on their laptops and have no problem. I'm guessing at this point it's not directly related to MQ2.

I'm beginning to suspect the crashes are related to EverQuest settings. If someone can install a fresh EQ on a PC that's having problems, please report back. (either use a temporary folder to hold the fresh copy of EQ, or use our "eqbackuprestore.exe" found in your /Release/Utilities folder to preserve settings)

If you have a computer with tanks that are crashing repeatedly, please contact me on discord and we'll do a screenshare.

Also - just did full re-install of MQ2. Managed to find a couple of new .ini to try out because - well....you know why.

Tank crashed again.
 
So far it seems everyone with tank crashes is running Win 7. Anyone with crashes running another os? @Yrkoon ?

I'm backing up data as we speak for a Windows7 to 10 upgrade. On DSL. So this should take about 3 days before I can test if this the fix.
 
I am on Windows 8, and started having some odd issues after uninstalling and reinstalling Very Vanilla... Random toons vanish now with no error box. Can't duplicate it predictably.
 
Don't everyone upgrade to win10 please, I'd like to find the issue and test a fix.

Running windows 8.1. Did a fresh reinstall. War and zerker still having issues.

Upgrading as we speak to Windows 10.
 
I am using autowarrior and kissassist for my zerk. They both are crashing on my laptop that is running Windows 10. No issues before the patch.
 
None here on a sk and wizzy and Ranger doing minimum stuff.
 
Pullertank SK crashes in KA 10.2.6 or KA 11.009 if MQ2Melee is active (Windows 7 machine). steely=0 alone didn't solve my crashes. Turning off MQ2Melee did fix it. I sent eqmule my full setup as requested, but I dont think it crashed on his tests.

My KA 10.2.6 warrior on Windows 10 is happily running for 8+ hours during same time with MQ2melee active. My 2 zerkers on Win7 also ran for hours, so maybe there is a certain setting for zerks that is an issue.

Temp Fix: How to turn off MQ2Melee. If you were using MQ2melee for holies/downs, this will de-activate them until you turn the plugin back on.

Unload the plugin

Make sure your KA isn't restarting it, change this in your Melee section of ini if needed and restart KA:

I am running Windows 10 and have been for about a year now and my SK crashes with steely=1 so I just removed it for now
