Since the latest patch, my cleric no longer breaks invis to heal the MA. All other toons on this computer break invis and start to fight. I cannot find anything in the characters ini that would seem to cause this. Am I even barking up the right tree on this?

Here is his ini:

kiss shouldn't do anything if you are invised - there are sometimes where if it is casting a spell while invis hits, it would break - but it shouldn't break invis to heal your tank (looks like my ini too, nothing in there that should HAVE broken invis to do something)

Yeah KA should stop if you're invis.

Are the other toons that break invis running just KA? I see in the cleric's ini it mentioned the last error was with mq2heals. Maybe you're running plugins that are auto-engaging?

My toons have ALWAYS broke invis and joined the fight if my Tank have started to fight. Gonna check the cleric again now after this patch.

But it's not stopping when Invis. Frequently when you issue an Invis command via /bc, one of the invisers will IMMEDIATELY cast a buff spell. Seeing the same thing when invis w/mqp on, as soon as you unpause an invis toon will throw a buff. And zoning will also cause the same thing.

I did look at trying to get some begug logs to send in, but unfortunately I tried it on multiple toons at once with HORRID effects on video lag. Will have to look at trying it again, with only one or maybe 2 toons debugging.

this is how i handle this situation
I have a Pause hotkey which does a /bcga //mqp on and then i have an invis hotkey which tells my healer to dismount, and has a bct bardname multibind which does another /mqp on (in case i forgot), and then a /twist off <--- this is important, twist will break invis, then does /alt activate 3704 for a fresh selos and then /alt act 231 for group invis

A bunch of the subs have some me.invis checks to return out of the sub

check buffs, for example one of the conditions in the if statment is ${Me.Invis && $me.notarogue then return out of the function

the heal subs, however do have (${Me.Invis} && !${AggroTargetID}) I'm not sure where aggrotargetid is set - but it looks like it might do stuff if you are invis but you have an aggrotargetid

I'm not a kiss expert tho, and i might be misunderstanding something maybe we can get @ctaylor22 to hit us with some cool infos

I didn't mean to Hijack the thread, I just strongly feel that buff issues are what's causing a lot of the misbehavior we've been seeing in KISS of late. So sorry about that.

nah i think its all on same topic really - plus if there is unexpected behavior conversation in and around it might help!

I tried this morning running MQ2heals and not running mq2heals. Nothing changed, either way, the cleric would not break invis. My toons have always broken invis on MA attack call. Rather odd that they all do other than the cleric (running a group of 6 toons).

I will likely do what you suggest in regards to pausing the whole group prior to invising, but that won't solve breaking invis without another command to remove invis buffs.

my other hotkeys are /bcga //mqp off and /bcga //makemevis --- I should have mentioned that sorry

I keep the pause/invis and pause off visible near each other the same idea as i do the campoff/campon and followme buttons

I have Always had every toon break invis to buff, heal, cast, summon stuff, and have actually gone to some lengths to have them as conditions to Check for invis to NOT break invis to do that, but have always relied on my healer to break invis to heal and my SK to break invis and take agro if something agros on the group so that I can move the group around while invis and if something agros begin the fight.

have the same issue with cleric, shaman using kiss breaks to heal , not cleric
what I end up doing is in a hotkey
/bct cleric //cast 1 (so it at least breaks mez)

So I think I figured this out. I've been running solely on DANnet. Today I activated both DANnet and EQBC in the INI's, and my cleric now breaks through invis to heal the group. Something within KA?

Kiss will break invis to heal, only if the cleric sees mobs on aggro. Keep in mind, if someone outside of the cleric's GROUP needs to be healed, the cleric WON'T break invis to heal them, because the cleric won't see the mobs on the other groups aggro. In this situation, you would need to manually break invis on the cleric.

If you intend to run MQ2HEALS with KA, MQ2HEALS has the option to break invis to heal. It can be toggled on and off as needed.
