With the bonus and an expansion down the pike, is there a zone or zones in CoV that is better to farm a few aa to top off the tank? I quit grinding just before CoV came out so not too sure.

you want dark blue kills per hour. ToV is a better place, imo for grinding 115 AAs.

I'd recommend flipping an instance like using MQ2Grind so you get less prying eyes

I usually farm Tizmak's in GD. There is a safe area to camp near the river south of where Thurg should be. My camp covers 14 mobs might be 16 I forget, one namer can pop there. if that is too slow for you you can also pull wurms from the cave to the same camp. If I use my bard instead of enc i have to pull wurms too.

Personally I like tier 2 ROS.
not many people hunt there (on a couple servers i know of anyway) mobs con light blue and dark blue, but at the rate you take them down i found the exp is very close to what you would get trying to hunt in tov or cov. the plat isn't bad either when you consider your probably killing 5 mobs in the amount of time it takes to kill a mob in cov.

on a side note, ive leveled toons from 100 - 110 in a day in these zones with a group.

Restless Assault, do the wurm caves then quit and do it over and over. You can do the goat caves too but depending on the group some pulls are tricky.

IMO, ToV is still better for grinding xp than CoV. Either hit up the missions and complete the events. A good group can do this in 30-40 minutes or go to Rygorr mines and pull live side mobs with a class that can headshot/assassinate/decapitate.

This x 1000 !!!

Although, I found that doing the trash in the Tantor raid expo (Western Wastes) is really good Exp (3 aa per kill!) and drops 3 to 4 Luck augs every run. The drawback is the 4.5 day loot lockout.

My suggestion for easy and Fast AA experience is Gnome Memorial Mountain

Kill the Gnomes and Robots

Easy kills, Tons of mobs to pull. Many are Dark Blue Con at level 115 .

With Experience bonus in effect , you can rack up AA's in a hurry there

Is that viable for leveling 110-115?

It can be as I have done 110 - 115 in Gnome memorial Mountain

Level 113-115 will go slower unless you have Lesson of devote , EXP potions or exp bonus time

At level 114 I believe its 16 kills for 1 % regular exp .

Think of GMM as the new Frontier mountains when you were leveling from 105 - 110

As for AA , you get approximately 30% for light blues and 46 % for Blue mobs . Keep in mind you would be killing these guys fast and plenty of pulls and respawns

Like I said its the NEW Frontier Mountains for XP grinding

What’s the best zone for just XP grinding, no missions etc… 110-115 I’m currently in WW and I have 3 115+ raid geared toons with 3 110 toons. I like trying out new zones and having fun on the XP grind. What’s your recommendations? Thanks!

EW is probably your best bet, a lot of folks "flip" inside Restless assault that way they can have a "other people free" experience. MQ2Grind is one such way to achieve flipping

Assuming you can handle the pulls, indoor zones will be your best xp rate. TOFS and Velks are good zones for xp grinding with their zone experience modifier. Kael giants have too much HP to kill quickly. EW and GD are good for weaker groups if you're struggling to pull/CC multiples indoors, but you'll get less xp per kill and will have longer pulls in between mobs.

I can easily handle multiples in TOV and COV typically without any issues. TOFS the best in your opinion? I know you have to get keys to unlock all the floors from what I've read.

So you like GMM for 110-115? What's your favorite thing about the zone?

COV specific, NTOV or Skyshrine.. plenty of mobs, compact area.. However, mobs hit for more, have more hps and give less XP value (30% more hps, 10% more XP). ToFS doesnt have enough mobs imo (1 group can keep a floor down and have down time). GD lamia cave complex is good, alot of mobs, close together, can set 1 group high roam, 1 group low roam. Tizmaks are less XP, but rarely camped and can roam the entire complex trashing them. Grizzlys are not as good xp, but if you sent your camp on top of michief house, and do a hunter tank 750-1000 roam, can stay busy. Wurms are good XP, but need to adjust hitbox due to size, and can still run out, requiring you to pull from outside. EW mobs are far apart, seem to spend more time hunter'n then tanking, I havent hunted there in months. Agree on Kael, to many HPs for the XP.

Best thing i like about the zone is that you can train yourself and be able to survive it. Free pulls as long as its not over 15 mobs. Also like some of the aug drops from this zone if you need the upgrades for your alts!

ah, yeah, I figure that keys are already done. They're not hard to get and ShowEQ makes finding the trigger mobs trivial. But just the other day, I took my group to TOFS level 2 just to top off everyone's xp and AA bank and I was able to pull almost every mob on the 2nd floor and mow them down very easily.

I'm here now on the 2nd floor. Great place.

What I like about it is : 1) Tons of mobs to kill , 2) easy kills , 3) Decent EXP for the level of difficulty

Plus there are some nice random drops like bags as well as augmentations. Nice trade skill item drops as well

Keep in mind : You must kill the the Gnomes and Robots , near the mountain or inside it. The werewolves mobs on the outside are way less Experience.

You will also lose your faction and be KoS - but who cares

There is a spot in GD killing bears and the cave entrance is up and right of the mission guy. There is a alcove with no bears in it that you can set up camp and no is ever out there. I usually set my back to wall facing entrance of alcove and do a 180 pull radius and the other radius to I think 40. Than I pull for hours with no one ever around to bother me. There is one cave in there that you will pull 6 at once so you either have to have a mezzer or I just burn when I pull that one.

Othimirs in CS. I averaged 100 kills per hour over the weekend. No idea if that's good or bad. For me it helped me finish all my AA. 33400+ earned in seven years.

yes, if you prefer static camps, that room is great. flat, open and out of the way.

for just AA's, as Swank asked.. 3+ raid geared (ToV or CoV im assuming) .. go to GD lamia room, clear it. go up the tunnel with your group, pull north amd south rooms. if your still good on 18 min or less, pull the next room. walk back down and wait for lamia room to spawn. when i say pull, its not 1 or 2.. tag the farthest and take them all. can do the same in upper area (sometimes they warp through walls up there). 500-600 AAs per hour.

I raid with a guy that pulls them 2 rooms at a time, using a glyph (will make back the XP), but that just seems greedy lol...
