I have a melee group

I've noticed the zerker DPS isn't what it should be, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to run it on raids, specifically AA and Disc combos, etc.
Level 85.

Wondering if there are any guides to this or any thoughts?

Zerkers aren't super awesome until they get into braxi and their progressive ability line - that and being able to stack hdex like they're going out of style.

Getting into "modern end regen" makes a big difference too (86+).

You have bard (w epic), shm (w epic), and epic yourself?

Are using the longest delay fatty 2 hander you can? (Tho this lvl range / hdex it might be better using 32s instead of 36s)

Also, if you're parsing via mq2dpsadv, dont; use eqlogparser.

Zerkers are primarily *takers* so you need to give them shit to shine, bard, shm, bst, monk, rogue all bring stuff for them

If you're having trouble setting up automation yourself you should consider rgmercs or mq2berzerker obviously they can't make a shit unsupported toon Michael Jordan, but they can at least make it do the cool stuff it agould.

the zerker discord as stated above, has guides for every expansion. i know on burns for 85-100 i was top dps on my zerker outside of really bad mechanics. Also did pretty well overall. Are you using automation of some kind? and if so, what kind. If using MQ2zerker, from sic/cwtn, its important to uncheck somethings that arent in game yet at 85, so ur zerker uses the right abilities.

I second everything Sic said.

Weapon is huge.

Class support is huge.

Epics for that class support makes a difference.

Then the appropriate automation and button mashing. My zerker runs with SK, sha, bard, bst, monk

Yes, but when I do raids I see other zerkers doing 3-4x the dps that I am.

There are a lot of guides for level 115+ - zerker linups. Trying to find a good set of discs to use for burns, and between.
This is a common theme with raid level classes. You will see yourself coming up short and going WTF?? It really comes down to group composition for ADPS and disc timing. Also, maximizing Heroic Stats to avoid diminishing returns. I would simply ask your fellow zerks what their disc timing is like or what hotbutton sets they are firing off and when. Automation is great, but when it comes to maximizing DPS you would need to codify ADPS timing into conditionals and that would take a lot of extra time. That is why a good automation program where someone has done the busy work really makes your DPS shine.

I searched a couple random event parses from a random raid guild that shares their parses publicly.

Here are the top 10 items/discs for what they were pushing buttons for during those parses.

this out of context isn't really super helpful. in fact, going through parses without understanding how to apply the context of those things can be detrimental.

7 vs 18 recip rage is craycray

the top dude isn't using alliance, but bottom dude (with 18 recip) is

how many swings (melee) - how many hits (melee) - what's crit rate - what's engage time - what was group makeup

luck? what proc augs? 18/19s?
