IRL - All my rowdy friends are coming over tonight.

I'm so excited for football to start up again. All the dribbling, slide tackles, fast breaks, corner kicks, etc. Brings me the feeling of wonderment and happiness , knowing that the world is once again, all right.

i can appreciate football from both the USA and from the rest of the world ,,, but i always find it funny when NFL fans talk about it being the toughest game ... when an NFL game is played without pads ill say its tougher than rugby
 
never played full-contact American football; however, I did get knocked out cold playing soccer, my teammate kicked the ball, and it hit me right between the eyes. I flipped backwards, and the back of my head hit the pitch and knocked me out.

Then, playing flag football in college, I went down low to catch a pass and caught another guy's knee to my right temple. I was hearing bells going off in my head, and my eyes couldn't focus. Temmates asking if I'm alright, and I could only see their lips moving. I shook my head yes and kept playing, barely knew where I was LOL.

I discovered rugby during Covid and have been in love with it since. Couldn’t agree with your statement more.

Still a big fan of the NFL, but Rugby just scratches that itch better.
 
Played rugby, but a lot more football, my uncle actually played on American national teams, but is hard to find here. Especially televised and on at a bar! Rugby is a tough sport, no pads, but I don't want get hit anymore in anything except EQ haha.

yea, yea, the fanbase is shit and an embarrassment. i'm not one of those low-life losers who harasses people whether it be at the game, in the streets. etc. hell, some clowns threw snowballs at santa back in 68. 17 years before i was born.

one thing "hopefully" most of us can agree on is, the cowboys, not making it to the NFC championship game (let alone the SB) in over 30 years makes me giggle.

ps jalen hurts is a top 10 qb <3

edit: 3 krono bet says the eagles win by 10 or more week 1 vs dem boys. if anyone is serious about betting, you better have at least 10+ positive feedback on ectunnel.

Bah, made a drunken offer to a friend ( Eagles Fan ) to come over and grill for the game. He just called and said he was OTW. OUCH !!!!
