I just finished getting 52 boxes up to level 50. Woot! Woot!

Now the big question, is what are people utilizing to automate older raids starting at lv 50? Plus what is a good resource to use to locate these raids, mainly because it has been decades since I have done those raids, and those raids and locations are alluding me?

I am sorry if this is a question that has been asked before Sic, and if this information is else where, then I will be happy to go to those threads.

At that level you’re looking at Naggy/Vox, Plane of Sky possibly Hate and Fear they might be a bit tougher. Shouldn’t really need automation those OG raids were pretty much tank and spank. There are some death touch mobs in the Planes so read up on the encounters.

Thank you for this awesome informaiton.

I am looking for something that will help, because I doubt that I would be able to control all those boxes by myself. =)

Thank you too
I understand your issue. I think everyone struggles with controlling so many toons. I have only 18 and it seems like overload at times. Firstly, I can't help with what you want, I'm afraid, but I can offer some advice. You don't need a huge force anymore, even at level 50, to overcome these legacy raid mobs. Defiant armors at level 50 should have you pegged at 255 in all your stats, over 200 in your saves, and adding a couple of thousand hit points. Your 'toons are gods compared to the 'toons these encounters were geared for. Consequently, you don't need automation, you need practice. Take smaller portions of your force and try some of these encounters. I think you'll quickly discover that 50 are not needed.

Hope that is helpful.

Edit: Forgot to suggest RGMercs for your 'toons. If you want the best, then CWTN plug-ins for automating 'toons.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I am planning to go with you plan this weekend, and start working on gaining that fantastic experiance.

I’d just chime in to say, I run 4 sets - and I only control my tanks. Just 4 toons, using rgmercs and cwtn (shd) set the groups up to run, then setup lems if you need them or hotkeys in button master to issue /dex tankname /dgga for group wide commands to control that group. Trust the automation you have.

Good luck it’s a lot of fun!

I use EQBC and KissAssist.

I do not think I have every utilized, nor understand your suggestion. 😥

What is lems?
Button Master?

Oh dear gods I still have a lot to learn.

Thanks for the solid wisdome. 👍

So eqbc works too, I just use Dannet. Slightly different commands but same effect.

Lems are the scripted events and triggers for mlem https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/mighty-lua-event-manager.82347/

Button master: https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/button-master.2174/

You can of course just use hotkeys. Buttonmaster is just nice.

Editing you .inis and customizing kiss can be fun. But, I’ve found rg mercs to have a ton of customization and work well, and cwtn just works.

You should also have people in a fellowship. and if your just starting invest in the supperior Guild Flags etc. it will give you a great boost. Have your raid force in Guild hall...so you dont have to run through open world with54 toons.
Agents of change as mentioned above gives you a instance zone. Run 3 toons (Rogues with SOS is best) Place a campfire, get the raid, Campfire your whole fellowship in. Zone in. Set a guild flag. Zone everyone else in.
You are a ninja...nobody knows you are running 54 toons.

I assume you have everyone in a raid and set a main raid assist. At low level, there is no difference between a Group and raid.
Everyone assisting your MA, And everyone on Chase

You need to use these:
MQ2DANNET
MQ2BOXR

Buttonmaster (only needed on Driver really)
Gearly (Run this to help you decide what toon to loot on)

FEAR is a great zone to start with. Its open and your toons dont get stuck so much.
You also get epic drops etc. Once you can do Fear - you will be a master of the mechanics.

How long does it take one to acquire 52 accounts?

Your Fantastic in explaining your thoughts.

I will do your great suggestion and start with Fear, and tinker and learn the mechanics.

A++++++ Help here!!!

Off and on for a couple of months due to work load.

I can get a group up to LV 50 in 1+ day, while baby sitting and adjusting KA.

I also have a Main group on another PC that I have been focusing on the new expansion and Raids. They are on the other PC and not touching MQ, so they don't get the hammer. 🔨

Practice is all I can say. I rarely run more than 4 groups at a time, just because after that (for me) it starts getting less fun.

In the older raids, having MA and RA set with chase is what it comes down to, but start learning how to control multiple groups vs 1 and set the hotkeys appropriately.

Examples, regardless of the automation used, have pause keys, chase, assist, come to me so you can drive all the toons from 1.

And I second the ninja comment. Anchors. Secondary anchors. Get good at bypassing zones by bannering straight in.

I want to say THANK YOU to all the words of advice for you all. Once I can give out more Red Cents, I am passing them around.

I really enjoy this community, and I can not wait to start creating my own Lua, Plugins, and Mac's for this community.
