Just moved into KV and am getting wiped repeatedly by these things and can't for the life of me figure out what triggers it or how to stop it. Anyone else experience this?

I've had a single mob cast it 6 times in maybe a second, wiping everyone. I see other groups not having an issue with it. Any idea what triggers it?

AFK countermeasure, staying too long in a zone. Same as ToV Great Divide mysterious dot (not the restless ice)

I haven't been afk at all and am new to the zone. Been in it for maybe 2 hours.

99% sure I figured it out. Seems like it only happens when they manage to kill a cleric.

Would be funny. About 2 patches ago they fixed a raid where enchanter buff could cause raid wipes.

Some of the KV mobs heal (20k lolz), some of them have DS.. and the "caster" tall ones do that PBAE that hurts like a b*****. just have to pull smartly.

This ae is caused by the death of a player. If that ae causes another death of a player it causes another AE and so forth. If you have a couple characters that are relatively low overall HP that might get agro you can quickly cause a chain of deaths from successive AE's. It seems to be designed as an incentive to not bring in more than 1 or maybe 2 low hp type chars.

If you have a couple characters that are relatively low overall HP that might get agro you can quickly cause a chain of deaths from successive AE's. It seems to be designed as an incentive to not bring in more than 1 or maybe 2 low hp type chars.

It's funny when you train someone with like 6 mobs and wipe out his 40 bots in a matter of 5 seconds.

Because he's the reason why we're having macroquest problems, he monopolizes large areas of multiple zones 24/7/365 and does not at all play nicely with others.

He's actually on at least 4 or 5 total servers, with several VMs set up with perma-box crews. There's been mention that he actually works for the company (CSR?) and PLs on the side as a method for folks purchasing more krono, pretending like it's a person doing it and not a mega-conglomerate that is immune to player reports and petitions.
