well i figured out how to get it running. im new to macroquest, so i started a low level group so i can try to figure out how the use it. i found that there is a nice download for premade macros, called xgen bridge which wasnt really mentioned in the xgen page, and the instructions on xgen pretty much just say install it. figuring out how to get that running was also kinda difficult, nobody really goes into exact detail on how to do things, i suppose its just kinda assumed that everyone already knows. after getting xgen and xgen bridge successfully going on my tank, i loaded that rest of my toons to try to get it going individually but ran into a couple of problems. first problem is that the rogues continually spam "we need to hide and seek". not sure how to fix this and should i be going into regular kissassist files for each character to adjust or is there a acutal xgen file for each character that i edit? the second problem i ran into was the bard says there was an error building db after trying to run /macro xgen\xgen. the third problem was that the mage macro ends with multiple /varset failed messages, and i cannot use xgen bridge macro window with him. the 4th problem i have is everytime i got to target player characters, they immediately become untargeted and get a "target cleared" message. the fifth problem i have is that the group doesnt do anything when commanded using the xgen bridge macros. for example, clicking follow does nothing, only the shaman gets a message saying "now following", but just sits there. are there any available fixes for these problems at this time?

sounds like you have multiple plugins not loaded. you need mq2dannnet, mq2sqlite, mq2collections, mq2lua, mq2hud. Thats what i recall as being needed. As far as starting as low level toons. xgen was not designed as a low level toon utility. Having said that i have some classes that i did write from level 1 up as i wrote the mac as playing / learning those toons. The rogue sneak hide is a known thing, you need to disable that ability. /cc rog to see the command to disable. You need to have your MT / MA set then start the macro on toons.

EDIT: forgot to mention, xgen has nothing to do with your kissassist.ini. They are 2 different macros.
 
Good afternoon. First time user. I am running into an issue on my bard when trying to set up xgen. Worked great on druid and mage.

havnt updated xgen in years. sorry not in the game anymore. xgen is dead. I tried to get others to pick it up, but no one volunteered.
