Ok just ran into another issue when trying to run Xgen for first time on my druid .. I get this error and the macro pauses

WARNING: undefined variable pullmap used on line [email protected] /invoke ${pullmap.add[0,all]}
macro paused .

nothing happens .. ive /end macro and restarted it and i get the same thing .. does not complete DB setup ..

Ran it fine on my other 2 toons .. and yes I /end the macro on both of them so i would have no conflicts running it on druid .. ?

EDIT: also my toons are all below lvl 30 .. druid is 23 .. hope that is not the issue .. on one of your updates you say you fixed the druid spell thing with 8 gems for lower lvl toons ?

It should of autostarted it, but its not lately for some people.. But that should cure ya.
 
Is this supported anymore? Since The last update is kinda long time ago, atleast on forums?
 
only thing that changed from last xpac to current was spells.. I updated some classes.. If you use a class not updated just use the BYOS option and replace spells that way, not hard to do. And unless someone wants to take it over (I asked in creators a long time ago) Ill not be doing any more updates, as I do not play anymore.
 
Hi so i love Xgen but as i level i get new spells and my Spells arnt updating also my cleric just isn't healing looked all over forms before coming here cant seem to find out what im doing wrong all my chars are level 50 also try to use this on the wizard he does nothing but saw there nothing for them.

Hello, been out of the game a bit. So Ill do my best to answer :) When you level you just restart the macro to have it load new spells. Your usable spells are set up at the start of the macro, so whatever level you are is what is chosen.
As for the cleric not healing, are you roaming or stationary? Is MA/MT set? Do you own the spell its wanting to cast? I suggest us9ing the command /cc missingspells and go buy what it says. And cleric sub 70 doesnt have spells in the DB.
Now the wizzy I pretty much built it for 85 and up.. but around 75ish it will start doing stuff. I never got around to doing all the spells and abilities for wizzy down to level 2. Sorry...

Having said all that, you can add your healing spells to cleric. manually, using the BYOS function. You have 5 heal variables to set up for use. Hel1 - Hel5.


Hope that helps, and im happy people are still using XGen.

thanks for the fast replay but i am trying to use the /cc byos been typing /cc Byos Variable Kragg's Salve and than it says Xgen-shm.inc@158 (mainloop): /call mainloop do you still recall how im suppost to type the cc byos

soo it would be /cc byos Hel1 "Kragg's Salve" You forgot the " " around the spell Name.
 
replace Hel1 with whatever variable your trying to replace. IIR /cc printvars will show you all variable names, if your not using Bridge.

1693845981647.png so Im playing a full group Bezker works great Shaman a bit confusing since in commands there no instructions on how to turns these on for slow i can get him to cast Malo but cant get him to slow also the Enchanter Mezz sometimes not all the time i tried to put /cc aemez ## at 1 and at 10 seems to mezz more at 1 for some reason im not sure what im doing wrong thanks for the help

They are listed in the in-game commands, and here also. If you use Bridge, it makes things alot easier.

/cc shm Should show you your class commands.

But heres what your looking for .

malo / slows are debuffs, so.. [B]/cc debuffs: Toggles Debuffs ON/OFF.[/B]

You are posting the counters on the right side of the hud. The OFF is not a indication that its not trying to slow or malo, its just saying you havnt landed a slow or malo... Same with those dots. That area is counters only..


as for the chanter, i really dont understand your question,.. if there are more or = to number of mobs up you have selected for aemez # and AE mez is on, then its going to use the AE mez spell when ever it can. It will also single mez mobs while doing buffs debuffs and nukes / dots on tanks target....

So at aemez 1 its going to cast ae mez spell whenever 1 mob is in camp.. at 10, it will single mez up to 9 mobs... and only cast a AE mez when 10 mobs in camp. not real good imo AE mez mo gooder for that many mobs! The number you set really depends on what type of pulling your doing, how well geared your tank is, ect... If your tank can swarm tank 6 mobs un-mezed, then set aemez to 7, If hes a wet paper bag then set it to 3.

so I'm back again I fill like I'm the only one who uses this but its great Just Unsure about a few things so I have a 111 Show knight and it pulls more than 1 all the time that's not an issue the issue is it will not use the skill taunt or bash or any aa's it uses the spells though witch is great..

wondering too is there a way to have ini file to mess with???
sorry for all the questioning just new to MQ2 and yours is the best

use bridge. buy missing spells. Bridge is in my signature. Adjust tanking variables as needed in bridge.

As for being the only one using, I know thats not true :P But Bridge does make things alot easier.

working on updating DB for 125 levels, and adding spells. Its slow process for me. Not even sure if anyone uses this anymore.
 
Don't feel sad about people who may or may not be using it! I myself actually am getting back in here for some good Ole nostalgia and I found this just tonight. Been reading lots on it and honestly it sounds really nice and plan on giving it a whirl for my 6 box here when I'm finished setting basic stuff up and what not.

DB has been updated to level 125 and 3 classes have had spells updated to 125. Shaman, Cleric, Warrior. ( Did my best here, remember I haven't played in a long time lol)

Corrected a bug on SHM when targeting a PC, while in combat. Frost line spell would fire on target, even if their ToT was a PC. That will no longer happen.

Named mobs DB updated, I'm having a issue getting Pal'Lomen zone to actually recognize and create its self in the DB.. Its really strange. If...

Tried running this macro for the first time on my cleric and got caught in some buff loop. Not sure what is happening here or how to avoid this.

You have a old aura running. Thats a EQ issue, the Aura window that YOU cast, they hang up in there, and you cant cast a second (or 3rd, depending on class). not the short term buff window, the casted aura window mind you.

As far as the tool goes, it would have to check for that aura being in the cast window, wipe it and recast (same or new).

OK thanks. Will try again. I thought I cclicked the old ones off but must have missed it.
 
first time using xgen. there is an issue with file structure. when installing from redguide launcher is isn't making a xgen folder inside the macro folder should it be macros\xgen\ xgen.mac ?

yes there will be a xgen folder inside the macro folder. to launch just type /macro xgen\xgen
 
what in saying is when installing from redguid launcher it doesn't make the xgen folder.
 
is there a link to a detailed walkthrough how to get this up and running? sorry im new
