I was messing up the cmd, sorry bro. however, i thought setting camp to XX would cause the char to engage anything inside that area? if there is a cmd to set this range (or you are going to add one) thats sweet.. but yeah, i was under the impression that when i set camprad that was were agro would happen.

Currently have tank set to 85, DPS set to 100 due to odd mob hit box areas and and various issue (tank runs in, mob stays out or tank runs in, mob stays out, dps runs out, or tank runs in, pets run out.. least bard is steady.. im not dps, im ADPS..)

do a /cc range # on your tank

/cc range : Changes the Radius of X and Y Scatter for return to camp.

Currently default is a rad of 5 so you can vary up to 10 in X Y.. But if you set lower.. well you can return to exact spot if u wish.
 
im geting reports from others after patch of wonkyness

Ill test tomorrow and figure out whats going on.
 
Have 92 Mage tried using this but with another higher DS on he keeps trying to do circle of dreamfire and will not stop.
 
I am also getting this when I try to set a melee to autosit. That is the same error I get for War and Zerker, Rog seems to work tho.

trying this with a Cleric today and tried to change the "/cc move" setting yo on and he spammed this for about 5 mins then it changed.

and he will not mem spells using /cc memspells

Battling as a cleric is not implemented yet... It is broken, and that command should not have been available.. Im sorry thats what happened... as far as the memspells.. That totally should have worked, and ill look into it.

Your Welcome, I am not a coder so I am trying to help anyway I can.
 
I'm using this on a mage currently and noticed several things:
- /cc malo does not seem to toggle the mage's use of malo.
- the macro keeps looking for the spell Arcronite Malosanata ... but think its looking for the 109 spell Arcronite Malosinata
- I think its this macro that is somehow eating my Power Source ... was using Pure Energeian Light Orbs and think that having Orb in its name might be conflicting with the Firebound Orb
- When switching pets, like /cc water , if you have any Overseer Collection Item Dispenser Fragments or Overseer Collection Item Dispenser in your bags it will sometimes grab them ... i think it might be something with the pet toys or weapons that causes this

Thankyou for this information. Send the bill to Japper for missing items, He's available here in Redguides. I cant say ive experienced it eating any power sources and leveled 86 to 114 on mage so far with it. But It will be addressed never the less. Thanks again.

Looking this morning, the macro when run on a Mage also eats a Faded Orb of the Magus -- https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=85795 -- i'm guessing the word Orb in it is interacting somehow with the summoned Firebound Orb.

I have four Mages running this macro in my group ... but only two of the four had the above item eaten.

Also, regarding Power Sources ... I stuck a Magma Stone in the power source slot on one of the mages and it was still there after a round of fighting/macro'ing last night. The missing Power Source and weapon both contained the word Orb.

No worries, loving the macro. I've slowly been introducing it to all my toons. The Cleric and Shaman are running great ... and the Mage's are doing exactly what I'd want them to do to the enemy. Great work. Thank you!

1.55 HotFix. The CookieMonster

This fixes mages from eating things they have no business eating.. I know we call the robots.. But they should not eat power supply's .

This also addresses Roaming as a group while killing, and Assist stops working. This will not be the case anymore.

On the TODO: Shaman Stacking of Unity line spell. There is maybe a fix in it, I have not tested and wanted to get this out asap, as the buffing isnt game breaking and eating items / assist issues is.

I really enjoy XGen, Aipoc does a great job with troubleshooting when there is issues like I had yesterday.
 
Regarding the Druid beta ... i love the more verbose listing of commands (screenshot below), but the associated HUD seems cramped compared to other classes.

When I first started the macro while the druid was only grouped with a merc it began chain-casting Defense of the Reptile on NULL until I managed to type in /cc buffs and toggle it off.
The /cc makebuttons for the druid only made 9 hotkeys.
If I turn off Nukes, DoT's, and Buffing ... but leave on Debuffing ... it doesn't hit the mob with anything.
Lastly, it would run for awhile but ultimately crash out with an: Unparsable in Calculation error.

just seen this, ill look into the error, and hud is just a poor copy, havent touched it yet hehe
 
Couple questions about XGEN for Bards (a level 115), I've had the following happen:
- I can get the toon to pull one mob all right after I turn on the macro, but the next pull it won't autoface the target so the toon keeps getting pummeled in the back
- sometimes after pulling with Sonic Disturbance the toon won't turn on melee
- sometimes the toon will turn just target itself and not the mob pulled, resulting in suicide via DPS Chant
- In a two-person test group the pulling bard is set to Main Assist and Main Tank and after bringing back a single mob starts chain casting Fading Memories because it has aggro.
(Note: This testing occurred in the Plane of Shadows, just pulling beetles and bats).

Have you heard of any of the above occuring?

Does the XGEN Bard have an Alliance/Covenant check for hitting a target with Insults ?

it is probably faster for you - and DEFINITELY more readable for folks if you use something like screensnip instead of taking a photo of your monitor and posting something godzilla sized

Take an easy screen snip with Shift+Windows Key+S, then select the area you wish to copy, then Control+V to paste it

its back again /shrug

Yeah, fumbling through a new (er) cpu build. Thanks Sic :)

So built a new PC, got all the guts going, fresh windows 10 install, all EQ files good, all MQ stuff good except for:

On all Xgen (mage, shm, cleric (just a test, CWTN ran up fine), rng, brd). the system location is the same for RG/MQ, the EQ files are all same place (installed OS on new SSD, EQ stuff remained on same SSD). As seen from the clip, tells me i need a DB update, auto MQP.. unpause and it tries to update and it ends macro when it cant update DB?...

You should have a xgen folder under your macro directory. IN the folder should be 1 inc folder, and 1 ini folder.
The xgen.mac file should be in the the xgen folder.
If all of that is correct, let me know and we can continue troubleshooting via discord or PM. I personally like discord as its real time and a lot easier :)

I did for testing purposes just delete my xgen files in my RG MQ Directory. Redownloaded with RG launcher. and logged into eq. Xgen started right up, created DB without error.

Im out of the loop for a few more days. RL stuff.. but come monday I should be back in the swing of things.


EDIT. was your previous OS drive the same drive eq / mq was on. And now you have a new OS drive and mq is on the old drive.
If thats the case im betting, there is something screwy going on with the path to the macros directory.

I would try a fresh install of RG Installer and fresh install of MQ and new download of macs.

Directional Pulling!! and so soo soooooo Much more!

As the title says.. Directional Pulling is now a thing.
You can set a degree 45, 90, 10, 17, 164, Your choice. When you set this option, the direction you are facing will be the Center of your Arc. So if you use /cc pullangle 90, you will have 45 to the left and 45 to the right of current facing dir..

Druid updates, spells ect.. running pretty decent im told by druid testers.

Necromancer added. Current state is Alpha. Should be working. I personally have not tested.

Small thing: When you do a /cc to get a list of all the commands, the description for /cc setassistat ## and /cc setburncount ## are the same. Does not show what you have burn count set to.
