WoW Movie

What. The. Hell.

Blizzard really needs to rethink where it's going. From high-quality games to capitalizing on every possible avenue of money?

I agree, there's a degree of terror that seized me when I first read this. I feel like Blizzard has pretty good quality control (yeah, I know people complain a lot about WoW, but it is the most popular MMORPG in the US, so they're doing something right), but I've also seen when good liscenses go bad (i.e. Dungeons and Dragons).

I think they've abandoned integrity since most of their original team members left (over WoW, oddly enough).

Blizzard storylines are always so melodramatic. Sometimes during cutscenes in Warcraft 3 or Starcraft, I'd zone out for a minute or two from boredom, then start listening again and hear, "Schzken Thar'zerathuleruan has betrayed lon-shrafulanzeaudd, he found the power crystels of ancient ferluzaheans..." and then just start laughing.

I don't think I could sit through a movie of that stuff.

I'd prefer a documentary about WoW nerds, like trekkies.

Plus, I liked the World of Warcraft cinematic more the first time I saw it, when it was called Lord of the Rings.

I dunno. I think since they really want to make a movie, they should animate it, like the intro movies. I think if it's live action, it's going to be cheesy and not have the feel and atmosphere. IE: It's gong to suck the puss out of a rotting mules ass.

To appeal to their core demographic, it should be an anime movie staring the voice talents of Keanu Reeves and Jeri Ryan.
