Way back before they changed West Freeport (Around 2001) to the new crap they have today, Ping Fuzzlecutter was a scumbag NPC. I was trading with someone who asked me to hold bags for his other character, and he gave me one more than I had room for, and of course, it fell to the ground. This little prick Ping Fuzzlecutter ran over and snatched it up before either of us had a chance to grab it. So after waiting there for 10 hours for a GM to answer me, I was told there was nothing they could do about it, as the NPC was working as intended and in the future I should be more careful. The moron couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me if items the little prick picked up would show up in inventory. I wound up spending over 50k plat, which back then was a nice sum, only to find out that items dropped didn't show up. I spent the next week killing the little shit over and over.

This one petition will always stick out and be counted the worst. The GM was just a dick, and acted like I was bothering him because the little prick Ping Fuzzlecutter was supposed to do that. Lesson learned.
 
Old School SOE Snub:

A LONG time ago, when EQ was new, I was camping the SBS (Shiny Brass Shield) in Crushbone. I waited in line until it was my turn. Shortly before the spawn popped, a female toon showed up and she KSed me. It didn't have the shield. She left but returned shortly before the spawn and KSed me again. This time she bragged that she got the shield. (I doubt it was a real female). There was a few curse words thrown back and forth. The person reported me for cursing. The GM showed up and started talking to me. I told him what was happening and he asked if I cursed at the other person. I admitted I did after the female toon started taunting me for KSing me. All of a sudden I was disconnected. The GM banned me for cursing. I had to petition to get my account back. They did restore after 7 days but was told that I have a "soulmark" on my account forever.
 
That I couldnt recover my account because I was using my grandmothers credit card to pay my sub, while I paid her with the cash for it. When she passed and I tried to come back to EQ they wouldnt allow me to recover my accounts because I couldnt get the credit card info for them.

it was only 2 bullshit accounts that were my boxes but still..
 
Never a bad experience with GMs, I remember there was one GM on Xegony back in 2001-2002 who was always looking for his pants when he came to inspect our guild killing end-game content.

Then again I never petitioned for anything if I lost something dropping to ground or if someone KSed me, I just got even. :)
 
I need a new mouse my logitech G7 she is dying oh and worst experience with SOE support was having to ring them after they stuffed up my credit card payments 3 times in one week and living in aussie land time zones made it shitty took days to sort it all out, woeful.

well, that's two words, hope they count too!

And I've only had great, if not to say downright amazing contacts with SOE customer support, (back in the 99s and up to 02 ish), except more recently, with the progression server I played on for a bit, the disputes about killing the bosses were rather poorly handled imho.
 
I had 54 accounts tied to one email & someone I got an account from decided to file a $15 charge back 6 months after I got the account from him. He never said a word to me about it & neither did SOE, I just woke up one day with 54 banned accounts & no clue why. I had to spend nearly 3 months of back & forth emailing with a fraud specialist at SOE CS to get 48 of the 54 unbanned but the one that created the charge back & 5 others are still banned due to this stupid incident. Lesson I learned is use a separate email for each account & go in & clear out any credit card or debit card on file for any account you take over. People do the damnedest things for no apparent reason.
 
Back in the day, a GM renamed me in the EC tunnel. He said the name was reported as a infringement on a Lucas Arts copyright. Low and behold some many years later, SoE besmirched Star Wars with Galaxies.

I submitted a ticket for the creation of a unique surname with the use of a ` which GMs need to grant. A GM contacted me one evening while my guild was raiding demi plane and said he was going to come and grant me the surname. When he popped into the zone he backed up right who promptly destroyed our guild as most were afk while recovery from a prior wipe. At least the GM was nice enough to toss out rezzes.
 
One time I shoved My girlfriends Tampons up my nose and called my self a Troll. I kept saying... LOOK AT MY TUSK'S BABE! To this Day My Favorite Troll Warriors name is Tuskk.
 
worse SOE experence , today, SOe let their domain name expire and it is going to take up to 2 days for all the games be accessible again .
 
Hah, yeah, just been very busy. In-game /random will take place on 7/24 at 2PM PST, vox server, Crescent Reach newbie spawn point.
