Question - What editor / setup do people use to edit their macros?

Hello,

I'm new and just getting into reading through and writing my own .mac files, and I'm wondering if people have something less painful than notepad, etc for editing their complex macros (perhaps an editor with syntax coloring, etc)?

Thanks!

I'm not smart, I just use Notepad+ I imagine the VScode like Grimmier posted is probably better but yeah I'm learning my self

I still use my old macroquest custom language for notepad++.

But I'd say that vscode for someone just now switching to something is likely going to do you just fine. Really you just want something that handles reading the file and I'm sure that the vscode option has a better experience.

Notepad++ for my simple country butt.

Sublime text editor for light weight work. Sometime I like to torture myself and use plain ole notepad without line number.

It has never occured to me to use anything other than notepad++ maybe I should look into VSCode for macros I use it for plenty of other things.
