"Cycle through all 5 shrouds from Yaldo and hail him between each and you get lvl 5."

About the Gnollish Totem, the first time I forgot to click it after completing the first part. So now I have gained the five levels but I have only 4/5 on the AA. Is there any way to correct that ?

If you have completed Gnoll Reaver 5/5 under the shrouds tab just return to Yaldu Bwor, give him the totem, select the Direwind Gnoll Reaver. Tell him "return" then when he hands you back the totem click it again. Should give you all ranks that you need for the "Item: Gnoll Reaver Fortitude AA under the Specials tab in AA section"

What is the best way to level the gnoll reaver for a lvl 120? I tried the mission a few posts above but you either can’t get the mission due to the lvl gap or if you shroud after getting the mission you don’t get exp.

Do you have Jann's Veil illusion clicky from TBL expansion? If so then place it on your illusions key ring and set it as the stat illusion. Then, get a low level illusion clicky. Like amulet of necropentance and place that on key ring as well.
Now. Shroud down to a level 5 gnoll and click the amulet (gives you 1143hp). Head to greater faydark or crushbone and kill orcs. Took me about 10 hours to get 5/5 on the shroud.

OK, just ran this through without reading anything. Got the main range slot reward. How's the bonus item attained (not on ZAM ATM)?

When the rat asks you to get his [brother] or get a [snack], choose snack, then you kill a mini named and get some cheese, when you get to finally get to brother, you turn in cheese and get the aug, one for each in group. I've done it twice so far, 2 different rings, Polished Paebala Silver Band AC438, 9431HP, 9426M/E and Vaniki's Cherished Band AC 438, 9521HP, 9488M/E.

Making an educated guess based on ToL Missions, you should be able to get that mission at 111. Now being successful is another story.

Just ran a couple folks thru this and one thing that is often overlooked is that you have to Hail Geldorin to trigger him. And noticed a couple players speaking language other than common which is the only one that he responds to apparently.

there isnt a common language on FV.... did it on 50+ char, speaking a wide varity of langagues..

He seems to go through it every ~5 minutes. I have tried throwing the bottle and there still seems to be a long delay so I suspect the bottle throwing is a placebo and it's on a timer anyway.

I just did this last night for 2 characters, had to do it twice on the first character as I forgot I had to request the task first. /facepalm

I went out to dinner and when I returned I scrolled though chat. Nothing was there for the quest. I threw 3 bottles and he started squeeling out the lyrics

Interesting, I was there last night and he just started on his own, I went through it all then realized I was missing the task. My buddy grabbed the task and as soon as we had it he started again without any bottle or prompting, then for the second character I threw the bottle got the emote and it still took about 2 minutes for anything to happen.

This is a good point. Just something to consider if he is not responding. Similar to hailing him, or throwing a bottle at him or him just starting on his own or waiting a while. Hard to say what the exact procedure is in this game but these are all things that one can try if one is stuck.

No issues with the Jann's veil trick. But I just leveled 2 chars to 5/5 in WFP just killing rats, snakes, etc. No veil. Took around 3 hours with pocketfarm. Another 47AC or so, which is about the same as an extra type 7, so mostly worth it.

Level 5. No buffs. No DS. Just killing stuff.

Edit: Last toon is still running at 65% in last level. Started around 3 hours ago on both. This char took a bit of time off. So I think this estimate is pretty accurate unless I misread the clock.

Update: All done now. Last took a bit because a centurion kicked gnoll's butt. But 3-4 hours is a good guess.

need priority -69420/10 --- pretty much useless these days - updating this to negative 69420 since people can't see the item isn't as useful these days as it was in the past.

Would this still be worth getting for a FTP account that only has up to ToV expansion (which is when this came out). I would think if it was useful in the past it'd be useful for lvl 115 and under toons that are FTP. Or am I missing a mechanic or something that made this obsolete?

Added a tip to the Cleansing Rod Mission

TIPS? --- Bonus Item: Cleansing Rod (click the Dubious Potion anywhere in the zone other than the deep part of the lake, until you get the reward) ( I didn't realize this and completed the mission and got hosed

Also if you give the rod to an alt, you can click again to summon another. Was able to create rods for the whole team in one shot.

These come out staggered on March 16th which is the anniversary. Since this year is big there is another one going on now.

#1 on my list: Port to POK every 15 minutes and there is a short cut where you make up the hot keys with the responses and only have to go to AB Sea. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=123362

Considering your level some of them on the big lists you won't be able to do.

he 6th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt rewards is Dusty Ceremonial Elixir of Scholarshipt can be completed by just about any char, the mobs are all trivial just a bunch of running around.

Eighth Anniversary Scavenger Hunt - Reward is Lunar Fungus, a Sporali familiar with water breathing effect.

This one is a little outdated but comes in handy
Ninth Anniversary Scavenger Hunt - Reward is Brick of Knowledge, a device which can port you to the Plane of Knowledge once every 20 hours.

And the Fabled will be out around the same time and have some goodies too.
