On my server, the port-in location of the stein is always stacked with afk toons. Seriously, even if you dropped 54 chars there at the same time, it would not look all that different than it already does. Anyone using that as a means to report people is going to get many non-MQ using folks as well. It's a great "GTFO quick" item. No reason not to have it since the steps to get it are dead simple.

Hell, I never did the Stein and I'm looking at it FOR my druid since I'm often having to load self port to pok so she can buy me supplies so I don't have to go, granted if I had a Stein myself I wouldn't need her to go shopping for me either lol.
And as a reminder before anyone asks, unless on Test, ALL annis, as in EVERY year, start on Mar 16, 3am eastern(time might've changed in recent years but I doubt it). If you can't remember, just think of Stone Cold 3:16

Actually you don't have to do the quest for the stein. Just raise your alcohol tolerance, buy some booze to give to Brasse (the first guy on PoK), then go to the elf Galdorin in abysmal sea and sing after him with two hotkeys:
Hotkey 1 says:

Ok so I finally picked up the stein. I’ll admit I was wrong and it’s more useful than I realized. Not so much for my general play which is almost always to anchor but really for when working on trade skills or random quests or doing epics when I’m bringing up a new team. Definitely has it’s uses in all my non-hunting activities.

Hands down if you never used the stein for anything else, it is worth it for an evac alone.
"Grace of Unity" in your short duration buff box
There is a "hidden" reward you can get right before finishing the Beyond Espoir mission.
Just zone back into shar vahl and give the beak to Sineb (the spectral wolf, *NOT* the one inside the deep instance) and he will give you the "Fungal Shrieker Spore" familiar, which has the same stats as the Ice Bound Ulthork from CoV. So, aside from the familiar illusion which sucks IMO, a pretty worthless reward (unless your toons are like 110 still and don't have the ulthork/blood bag). I know some of you people are die hard critter collectors though....
Level 1 clicky req on the familiar, but you need the beak, which is no drop, and you need a taskadd for the mission to get the beak, which has a minimum level req of probably like 100 or so. I really wanted a lvl 1 toon with that buff.

Something to add.
The trash mobs in this zone are incredibly easy (~2.5M HP) and give negligible XP (0.0127AA @ 120). But...they count towards evolving your ToV ear (and likely the TBL evolving items as well). And they re-spawn.
So for those looking to evolve items, this seems like by far the fastest way to do it for the moment, and can be done solo.
I use both all the time...I like running cmds from eqbcs...that is cuz I have been using it for erm lets just say a long ass time....dannet has its place and is a really nice set up but I dont know the cmds and I dont really feel the need the learn new ones lol
Shroud and go slaughter endlessly. Use your favorite PL method. Rinse and repeat until you have unlocked all levels.

How did you happen to have your setup? I have 5 Gnollish totems and was curious while waiting on my timer for Totem 6, and shrouded everyone and left them in PoK, took the driver shourded to 70 and ran the Zueria mac. I got slaughtered from AE. I did it again manually, and would run out of range after getting in an attack but at the end of the mission, no Gnoll shroud update. Maybe its because I did not take the group in shrouded..hmm
