Macro - Welcome to Shard's Landing

This macro will completely do the Welcome to Shard's Landing quest. I assume there most likely is one on the boards already, but here is another! Make sure you have cloudy pots if you cant invis.

Ok had some issues with this, not sure if it was me or the macro. Worked great in the past. Anyway here is an update. Will get the quest if you had it once and removed it for any reason. Will tell you if you already did the task. Changed the way you grab items and the way you nav to an npc. Just thought I would share for anyone else interested.

How do I run this? i can't get it to show up in my launcher app.

D/L the shards.mac to your macros folder and then type /mac shards in your mqconsole =)

that's what i did before asking the question and it immediately closed

I also did a site search for shards landing macs and saw one in a forum that had a link but its gone.

Hmm, I loaded it up on one of my toons (120 Wiz) after porting to SL and it appeared to work. At least the one Cannonball posted;



Granted, I did the quest already so it ended, but from zone in it went to Drent and tried to get the quest. I assume you have mq2nav loaded as it does require that and that you're in SL.

The fact that the error says it can't open it makes think its a corrupt download or not in the right directory somehow.

Double check it's in the right folder by right clicking on the MQ icon on the taskbar and choose the macros directory



It pulls up the folder and shows you the directory it's pointing to. Mine shown below, but I installed to a different directory



Gonna need someone with a bit more knowledge than me on this one if the above doesn't work, sorry.

i checked that location and there was a shardslanding mac in there by cannonballdex that was based on the shards mac I was trying to use so I got it working now thanks again
