Always a little confused, when using dual wield, do I use the hardest hitting in main hand or fastest? Same applies to the off-hand weapon?

From what I have been told, put the fastest(with best damage ratio) in primary, and the secondary you put the higher damage slower weapon. I also look forward the the words of wisdom on this subject.

Typically I have always put higher delay weapons in off-hand and lower delay weapons in primary. Due to the fact that off-hand tends to fire less often than primary. And when it doesn't fire all the time, that's ok because maybe the delay hasn't reset anyway. But if you have a faster delay weapon in the off-hand, and the off-hand doesn't fire when the delay is ready, then it seems like a waste of a check as you won't swing.

Your best weapon should always be in your primary hand. That could be ratio, proc, etc but your best weapon is usually pretty obvious. The offhand is whatever else you equip.
