NPC - Defense Unit CDL
Say "accept"
1) Invis and run to the giant blob "Waxwork Abolishion"
2) Ensure burns are *disabled* and use healer merc
3) hail and say "destroy" to start the event
4) DPS blob to 90% - he soft locks at this hp for a few seconds
5) blob splits into 5 smaller colored blobs (they are inactive, but targetable, for about 6 seconds)
6) ensure burns are now *enabled* (not really super important, just makes the fight faster)
7) start with any blob, it doesn't matter
8) use SK epic lich sting, when it expires use spectral lifetap clicky, and that should keep you alive for the next phase
9) "balance" all blobs hp as close to zero as possible, then finish them off simultaneously (the window to kill all is very generous, just be careful not to burn the shit outta the first blob, I've ruined at least 2 runs by dps'ing it to like 50% and having DS finish it off too soon. I usually switch off the first blob at 80%)
10) boss pops back, dps him dead and you win. Some adds spawn during this time, but just ignore/tank them and focus boss. You should expect 2-3 adds by the time the boss dies.
11) open chest ( you should get 2-3 achievements)
I'll add some more details here as I remember them and continue to farm this event. You *don't* need to be uber geared with max aa and full buffs to do this, but it definitely helps.
If you botch a phase and leave some blobs up, it's still doable, just repeat the balance process. But with adds spawning and burns used, it will be a lot more difficult. You really want to kill all 5 in 1 phase.
