Question - Warning! Noob Question.

With the announcement of free Heroic toons, I am considering trying my hand at this "boxing" thing so many seem to enjoy.
I have enough accounts to create a 6 man force. I have 2 computers I use. Both will run 2 to 3 toons at a time, anymore than that is problematic.
So, can I use KA, with three toons on each machine, in a 6 man group? Across the network?

yes, although I believe it works best if you set up MQ2 in a shared network folder and run it on both machines from a shared single location.

KA has some functionality to track buffs and if you have two copies of it, it won't work well.

I have two computers and ruin 3 toons on one and two on the other, don't see any issues regarding buffage, the only issue is when I decide to run a toon on the other PC and I don't have the correct ini file and I have to either create a new on or copy it over, not a big deal, more of a small annoyance.
I may look at the shared folder as mentioned above by Darkie though!

I would run a group of 3, each with merc on one computer, and run the 2nd group of 3 with mercs on the other computer, and use them as completely separate groups. You can still use the two groups together depending on if youre are farming or levelling, just /kissassist one person on all, usually the puller/tank, and have an enchanter in the puller group. Cleric mercs work fine in the gnarliest situations for me, but am not sure about tank mercs, or melee mercs. Never had luck with them myself. Thats for another thread though! You can also build your 3rd group by setting out a couple since your puter wont run more that 3 toons at a time and pepper in a lvl 85 hero in each group. Soon youll have 8 lvl 105s and you will be buying a GOOD computer! Then you can run 12+ on one!

This worked out well. I had PL'd two new wizzies to lvl 76 (naked, no spells, no skills, etc.). Popped them with heroics, equipped the standard heroic gear, and threw them in my 105 PL groups. They're now churning in different EoK groups earning like 2.5% regular exp a kill. It's magical.

They can group with 105s. I believe lvl 75 can to but that would be my guess.

Bingo. Can group at 75, but the massive train I pulled to get them there in WoS pushed them to 76.

yeah, I have a sickness so we wont mention how many are on my network but absolutely you can, eqbc plays well across a network and I suggest you backup your EQs to a thumb drive also. I back all mine up to a google drive but that's a who other can of worms
