Dear lurkygurky,
I worked in IT Support for a while, and yes i know its always bad assuming, but i assumed, very wrongly, that when i asked people a question and they said yes, that they infact was right and also understood the question, because i knew i was dealing with intelligent grown up people.
I was good at my job, so good customers we had outside the company, that we also supported would request me, or just simply hang up if i wasn't the one on their case, eventually i did all the support cases it was just easier that way.
Now one thing i learned, is that people might expect things one way and try and get help with it that way, block a goes into round hole b, if it dont its wrong.
So yes many many times i had to literally start from the beginning, and ask these grown up people, with 7 years of university just to be in that job, did you turn on the wall switch for the power?.
Now i know you are mostly a capable person, but you also seem to react in a way, when people try and help you, where you can be considered hostile or difficult. now you might have the aa or not, i have no way of knowing, i can take your word for it, but experience tells me its wrong to do so.
Now i have a sk with the aa, and only time i seen it load from the book was when i didn't have the aa, so again from personal experience it works for as intended.
I also learned when i was young, that if you ask for help don't be upset or angry if it dont turn out the way you wanted it, you coulda been wrong, or things could have changed.
but just for you lurkygurky, i am gonna investigate the case and bug the shit outta maskoi
because that's just how i fucking roll, and its fun to bug maskoi
