Vanilla - Very Vanilla MQ (Live Servers) (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

[Noggen]

When right clicking MQ to close it , the app does not completley close on any of my 6 PC's. The icon in the task back goes away but I have to use to task manager to close out the app before I can relaunch in order to get an update. I do not share folders beween the PC's they each have their own local folder. Anyone else seeing this? Windows 10 PC's.

Still not there. I noticed that when i clicked on "Launch MQ" from the laucher, i get a window that pops up stating "Waiting for connection to port:..." and MQ doesnt show up on my taskbar as it says in Video 1

You bumped a thread from 2 years ago, which is a very long time in the mq world (as updates happen frequently).

You should post in the build thread (for live, test, or emu depending on your build)

not displaying in your system tray usually means it isn't running.

you're going to have to provide folks more information (and follow instructions when folks ask you to do something - otherwise they can't help you).

is the RG launcher working/running? your downloads seem to indicate that it is

the post you bumped says that they have the eqbcs window running (waiting for connection window), is that running?

- are you using antivirus?
-- did you check AV isn't holding eq, mq, or RG files hostage
- do you have any weird permission problems with your mq install / programs running?

There was a hotfixtoday. DO NOT PATCH EQ or you'll have to wait for the next MQ update (no ETA). You can play without the patch by using patchme or autologin (preferred). If you've already patched EQ you're out of luck, unless you find someone to share the older eqgame.exe (don't ask here).
