HI all. I seem to have lost the functions of the group window. I can move it around but that is all. I cannot resize the window and it shows just the group members No buttons just the group of 6. Anyone else having this problem or know what I did wrong ?

Zeb
re the missing buttons - they are 3 plugins now

Code:
/plugin mq2targetinfo
/plugin mq2xtarinfo
/plugin mq2groupinfo

1. In MacroQuest(Next) they divided the mq2targetinfo plugin into 3 plugins, one to handle each of the windows it goes into
- Mq2targetinfo for targetwindow info
- Mq2groupinfo for groupwindow
- Mq2Xtarinfo for extended target info window

Thanks Guys... It was mq2groupinfo was turned off. Time for bed and get some sleep. I have been up to long messing around with stuff and losing track of what I am doing... thanks again.

Zeb

I am confused and maybe found the reasons of my problems:
somehow I have the inis for Kissassist in the subfolder "Mqnext/config" as well as in "Mqnext/macros".
Which is the supposed folder for those?

I am getting back to back crashing running KissAssist, my whole team will crash out after a few minutes of running my team. I would like to post the logs here to get this resolved, where can I find them?*

*Updated 8/6/2021 12:15 PM PST: unloaded MQ2Autoloot and this resolved the issue for the time being.

You can use either one, but you'll definitely be confused if you have it in both. The migrator will put it in config (it doesn't keep them in macros) and that would be my suggestion. But the code will look in the config directory first, and if it doesn't exist there it will check the macro directory.

The latest build has EQBCS.exe included and we'll be building it from here on out. This is the version of EQBCS I'll be maintaining and matching the plugin to, so you'll want to use this one rather than any of the other ones. If there are bugs or missing features, let me know.

isnt bcs2 the "better version"? it fixes a huge number of my continuity problems with my box group.

There were a bunch of different versions of EQBCS, I’ve taken the code from each of them and combined it into a single EQBCS using what I thought would be the most stable and best code from each. That includes the program formerly known as EQBCS2. So if you have issues, let me know and I’ll work on it, but this version of EQBCS should work as well as the others.

…unless I made a mistake which is quite probable and should be expected. In which case, let me know and I’ll fix it.

Either way, I’m driving towards one EQBCS that is stable and feature complete.

outstanding. I look forward to using it once this NextWarrior thing starts letting me attack normally.

is there a plugin that I need to load for the resize command?
I get "That is not a valid command. please use /help"
Also curious about this, I'm using mqnext if that makes a difference and still getting the same message.

@Redbot @Knightly
our friend @cortagon brought up that the current RG build doesn't include the RG custom.inc file that some macros like muleassist need. It would get moved over with the migrator utility, but any way we can get that added to the build - or is that something that will have to wait until RG is building the build?

I'll need more detail on that one. I see a file in the zip under macros called custom.inc, is that the one you're talking about?

downloaded mq next, did the migration thing now what do I do? I opened up RG launcher slected mqnext did the install, when i click launch MQ nothing happens

This was due to the fact that I compiled my own MQNext + plugins, so I didn't get any of the extra macro files. But, it may be worth noting for others that when going this route you will need to grab a copy of the missing files manually from the VV compile if you want to use some of the macros like Muleassist.

Hello,

I am going to attempt compiling my own copy of Live. What options are needed from a fresh download of VSC 2019? Are the default C++ options sufficient, or is the .NET stuff needed, too?

installed last night seems to be working well ! just wondering if there is a plugin list somewhere that i can see what plugins can be loaded at this time

there should be everything that you'd use from the regular VV install, outside of any closed source ones that the author has decided to not move, but in many of these cases there are alternatives in the works (like easyfind / slotcolors).
current things not in there would be mq2easyfind (alternative in progress), mq2slotcolors (alternative in progress), mq2mule (aquietone has a Lua script in progress to replace), mq2eqwire (built in framelimiter exists).
mq2grind and all the cwtn plugins are available --- if you renew licenses or purchase new ones make sure you msg the authors to get the next license manually added

yeah i i knew about the ones you listed i was just wondering if there was a list of known working ones as to not try to load something that wasn't ported over yet

well it is easier to say what isn't moved over than what it - as anything someone has said "oh you missed this" knightly's been pretty quick on moving over.

> Here < is the submodule list which includes most things
Without typing everything by hand the best i can do is show you a picture - i believe this is an accurate list (as i don't think i've removed anything).
Again, a little easier to say what is missing than what isn't.
notes:
- I don't have mq2grind here (because that is hytiek's)
- MQ2EasyFind and MQItemColor aren't part of the build yet

Also Mq2Achivements is close sourced so that is not migrated :(
While true, brainiac implemented any functionality that plugin has (and more) in core MQ:
Code:
New TLO: ${Achievement} is now available for accessing achievements, achievement categories, and objectives.
New DataTypes: achievementmgr, achievement, achievementcat, achievementobj
For more details on these new types, please see the documentation at https://docs.macroquest.org

Not exactly MQ2Achivements, but just released a few days ago on MQ

I ran MQNext as admin but still can't get Autologin to work with WinEQ.exe, i did copy my autologin.ini to config folder, disabled MQ2Next Autologin from menu but still, did i miss anything here?

Does it work if you launch EQ with WinEQ first then launch MacroQuest.exe as admin?

I'm guessing for the borderless window? that's literally the only thing i need from isboxer anymore, and if i could replace it with literally anything i would

has the isboxer login bug/mq startup been fixed yet? i saw something a few weeks ago about how there was a process about loading toons, then loading next, this still a thing?

That's the same thing we were just talking about with WinEQ. Launch the characters first and then MQ and it'll work.
i thought so but had to check, so what about launching toons after the fact? im assuming thats a no? i load/unload toons all the time as my isboxer config has about 40 toons / slots in it. i guess this is the only thing stopping me from moving to next. i also dont use autologin tho either

If you don't use autologin then it's not an issue. Just remember that IsBoxer launches all your EQ instances as "admin" so you have to run MacroQuest.exe as admin.

Yep. And the easy ability to have separate eqclient files and assign hot keys to each session.
