Games - US Vets Daybreak released Aliens Fireteam Elite 2, you can get a copy (4 Viewers)

This is a dual post, for info for US Veterans and for cool DayBreak news.

As a fellow Veteran, I like to pass on what can help other Vets. Regiment is a veteran run organization that gives vets a place (Discord) to gather and find other Vets to play with to help Vets both with Free games and online and in person among many other vet resources. A large part is to help with depression and suicide issues. Many Game Developers join them and give out games to Vets for free. Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 was just released today and I was surprised that Regiment posted that DayBreak company joined the Vets4Games program.

Cool on two levels. I Wish DayBreak well on this, the game looks cool and I can hope somewhere it would also translate to EQ getting some love with some cash going over to DarkPaw. Anyways, trailer looks cool. Here is info for Regiment X post and the DayBreak page:

on my phone i have an app called steamletter that can monitor steam and epic game stores for free to keep games as soon as they become free for like a weekend promotion or something

Thanks for posting this. Fellow vet here and I had no idea this existed. Had some buddies that really could have used it 20 years ago, but never too late to get things started.

I just found them close to a year ago. I sit in sometimes on their Thursday night Discord settings, I started for the free games, but they talk about other stuff and its cool to sometimes see the game developers have a rep who joins in the video chat and talks about the games. They have lots of real life resources as well, I think they just started with games as a means to get people together, but they do online and in person games, D&D , bar meets, convention booths I think. Its nice to feel a tiny connection back to military days. and yes, it helps me. If it gives you even the smallest smile, worth it. 20 years ago I was just out and a civilian, brand new dad, world changed for me too much too fast. Send people that link or use it yourself.
