I have set up a emu server on a rasperry pi.
I have the RoF client on a windows machine. This used to work fine.
I got a new gaming rig with windows 11 and RX 9070XT card.
Now when I start my client, i log on to the server and when i come to the char selection screen, the animations is moving ultra fast and stuttering. I have a hard time to get inputs through, so have to click 5 times to enter word or quit.
When I enter the game, its the same thing there.
I have tried, windowed mode and fullscreen, changed refresh rate on monitor, set maxfps in eqclient.ini and I have cpuaffinity to -1 on all.
If im not mistaken, I think I have read something about this before, but I cant figure out what it can be.
Anyone have any suggestion what to check?

I had something like this years ago with eq2, it was my processor doing something weird (drivers fixed it). I'd imagine it is related to the rasp pi tho

Emu stability guide. Your amd processor is too fast

Sweet, it was the AMD CPU that was the problem.
I downloaded a patched EQGraphicsDX9.dll file from here:
and overwrote the old one in my RoF client path and now it work :)

Hah that's hilarious, the issue I had forever ago was an amd processor, glad @Algar chimed in with that too, I nearly didn't say anything
