If a combine fails with 'You lack the knowledge to work with this material', because I haven't scribed a specific book or done a quest. Is it possible to auto-add that recipe to the block list then move on to another recipe? I believe I've scribed everything but I'm sure I've missed some older TS quests. In the meantime I'd like to rip through combines with all the materials filling up my bank & housing.

yes thats is possible, can add an event catcher. Macro needs a change
This the correct wording ?
'You lack the knowledge to work with this material'

Would be interested to know which recipe this is ?

Jande,

I am sure you are aware and already working on a fix but I didn't see it noted anywhere. I am seeing this line when opening some containers.

You using mq2 or next ? next.

Until Next is the official VV version it will be difficult to support, the 2 versions is not compatible. VV mq2 does not have that functionality.

Al'Kabor Thickner not showing as buyable. Not sure if this is a bug or not.

Actually it doesn't seem to recognize it, as I have some in my inventory.

So... I been working on Baking on a few toons and I found it was handy to block out a lot of the really rare stuff. I was still able to make 350 with the below blocked. I blocked it mainly to stop it from making the subcombines. Hope this helps you, like it did me.

So I use the command (Using MQ2 not MQnext):

/mac ts/tradesman pottery dryrun "exotic silk" ingredient

I see some recipes flying by like so:

1638676770926.png

Then my shopping list come out and is only the silks:

1638676818997.png

I go grab the 14 silks and run the command again and bam I get:
1638677107993.png

I delete all but one of the silks and run the command again and get the same output.

I delete all the silks run the command again and get the first output:
1638676818997.png

This normal behavior? I thought it would of listed everything on the first go. Do you need at least one of the items to get a shopping list?

That is correct, vendor items is not considered till you have the farmed component. Logic is no farmed what is the use of listing items you buy.

For some reason Green Gill Bones will not show up as a sub combine:

I think the answer is because it is a byproduct of:

jande updated Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) with a new update entry:

ToL Recipes

Most ToL recipes, tailoring/achemy/poisonmaking still missing
Need to make them myself to obtain the recipe number so they can be added to recipes counting towards 350
Probably still some errors in there.
May now add extra info to the block.ini file
12222=BLOCK who knows why

Then 12222=BLOCK who knows why will be show when skipping the recipe

Read the rest of this update entry...

Hey Jande, typo in the names for the new gems.

1639179962550.png

Need to add the word "Corrupted". I did a find/replace for "=Bloodied Luclinite Garnet" and changed it, recipes work now. ;)

is this program usable on next ? when i try to reinstall it on the launcher it still shows red and when i run in game i just get old recipes none of the new ones

its usable on next, just download it through the download button, unzip into macro folder.

you probably used the migrator and the ini files got moved to config folder, zip file has it in macro folder so old ones never get overwritten

Kind of weird that it's hung up on needing multiple Round Cut Tools when they aren't consumed.

I have noticed when grinding out JC that it will buy dozens of the molds as well, when they aren't consumed. If there a flag to let you know something won't be used up in the combine, and the macro shouldn't be accumulating their need?

Probably a bug, there is such a list in tradesman-skill.ini

And the bug is the round cut tool is not listed there....

How do I update this for TOL stuff? I just down loaded it and installed it as I had some bad files. IT is outputting 4008 recipes and there are 4082 now.

Research, its not picking it up yet, I am having to do some manually beating on the recipes still, currently doing it.

Comes from relying on automation too much, thought my tools for new xpac was perfect, oh well

tradesman.mac does not know how to make Bloodied Luclinite Transmogrifant Patch with smithing. It knows the recipe with tailoring though! But it didn't want to go and make the subcombines, so I had to have it make the heavy fabric and leather before I could run it to make patches.
[setting]
recipeFarm=0
subcombine=0
--that should have it make every subcombine? Or maybe subcombine should be set to like 999? That may be my fault if that's the case. ;)

1640019342028.png
It looks like it is trying to make leather with silks.

"faded bloodied luclinite chest armor" is missing from smithing -- the other 6 pieces made just fine. It follows the same routine as ToV/CoV -- smithy hammer, breastplate template mold, 4x patch
All 7 pieces for tailoring made just fine.

Jewelcraft is making all the cut garnets. But in "learn" mode it made one (the round cut) which I already knew the recipe for, so it may not be reading the output file correctly. Is there something on my end that caused it? If you need garnets for testing just let me know.

/outputfile recipes jewelcraft

send me the resulting id's for the bloodied, the id probably changed from what I have.

subcombine=5 for a relisting value, 5 deep, 0 means don't make subcombines.

Fletching:

0 / 3 x Bloodied Luclinite Tainted Logs

1640054724717.png

I know. The inconsistency is killing me, too. I made the edit in my fletching_recipes.ini -- line 4723.

Line 3423 -- Faded Bloodied Luclinite Buckler -- should be Buckler Plans and not Buckler Shield Plans. The edit here also worked.

After the Wand and Buckler were made, the macro didn't know the other recipes. I am far too lazy to input them in when we won't have nuggies flowing in for another couple of weeks. ;)
