Hey guys, I have a toon that has 300 tradeskills and I'm just now doing the trophy quests.

Is there any way to level up the trophies without doing 301+ combines the entire way to the max trophy from the Beginner trophy after I obtain it, or am I cooked?

Thanks.

Combines with a trivial of more than 100 points over your current skill will not count toward trophy evolution. For the purposes of evolving the tradeskill trophies, all combines with a trivial of higher then 350 are considered as 350. Once a trophy has reached level 6/7 (six of seven), you must have at least 300 (unmodified) skill to increase it any more.

The experience gained on a success is equal to the trivial of the combine up to 350. All 350+ combines give only 350 experience. Therefore, your trophy would evolve faster making 350 trivial combines than 301 but even at 301, it would eventually get there.

Experience Needed:
```
Baking - 350,000 (1000 350+ successes)
Brewing - 350,000 (1000 350+ successes)
Jewelcraft - 350,000 (1000 350+ successes)
Pottery - 350,000 (1000 350+ successes)
Smithing - 262,500 (750 350+ successes)
Tinkering - 262,500 (750 350+ successes)
Alchemy - 262,500 (750 350+ successes)
Poison Making - 262,500 (750 350+ successes)
Tailoring - 157,500 (450 350+ successes)
Fletching - 157,500 (450 350+ successes)
Research - 157,500 (450 350+ successes)```
Thanks Sic, but do you know if that means I have no choice but to do 301+ combines even though my trophy is only the Beginner trophy (just finished the quest to get it) since my skill level is already at 300?
the quest to get your trophy gets harder the higher the skill. So at 300, it would have been much harder than the quest at 50 (more materials, etc…)
The silver lining is when you complete it, it should come with an extra certificate to “level up” your trophy up to closer to where your level is.
Wield the trophy, then combine that certificate in the container that it says (oven for baking, etc…) and it will jump a couple evolutions for you
Yes, you have to use 301+, but IIRC there is some funny business involved in addition to what Sic posted... I want to say it is also that the "all combines above 350 are considered as trivial 350" doesn't apply at the early stages, meaning you can't use a 440 trivial to level a beginner trophy. I'll look back at some notes from when I leveled trophies last a few months ago.
Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for.
to level your trophy, regardless of what skill you have, you have to do NON TRIVIAL combines to level it. you have 56 skill, you must do 57+. if you have 349 skill, you have to do 349+ trivial combines to skill up the trophy. Do not scribe tradeskill books until your trophies are maxed cause they can push you over 300 skill and make your life harder than it needs to be.
for instance, an area this can blow up in your face, pottery has a 302 trivial combine you can buy off a vendor in western waste. Supereasy, cheap, etc. you scribe the wrong book or learn too many recipes and it puts you at 302 skill for pottery. suddenly you went from a combine you can do off a vendor, to 5 precombine bullshit.
