Should test it as a ogre since the mesh needs to be adjusted for those classes but no one but me makes meshes for those sizes.

Just tried to use this and its stuck almost straight away doing the freebies quests, trying to combine unfired wayfarer mug and seal in the kiln, and its saying invalid item in slot enviro 1 and 2.

Figured it out, for some reason it did not open the kiln, did it manually and its moving along again now

Yah, the bigger races, troll, ogre what not I usually just shrink before I start the stuff in Abysmal, or you can add a shrink command to your macro. :)

How do you stop the pc from doing a quick 180 when nav from 1 spot to the next.. it looks like warping 180

re-working a lot of the NAV, this will help with step 1 of getting to the object..

heh,,making up syntax that don't exist..

/nav item |id=1134 log=off

trying to nav to a specific static container :p

but we be pretty darn cool if it was a feature :)

And you can vector your current direction and then /keypress left hold till you face 180 from the original direction

The weakest part of this macro is its description.

Here is an example: Lets say we try to do the items for brewing trophy. Given the information in game and in the instruction/overview sections the command would have to be /mac TSC ShopMake brewtrophy. But /mac TSC ShopMake brewingtrophy is the correct command.

Given the nature how this macro developed, thats understandable. It still needs fixing. I'd be willing to help if i am allowed to edit overview and instruction sections for this ressource.

You now have edit rights..

Ran through all CR freebies with Orge,, Orge tested gnome approved NAV..

Sometimes randomly falling off the elevator.. priceless.

Also reviewing POK and Abysmal NAV for fixes/enhancement.

ok. I started with the instruction section and a little pre-text to the overview section. These things might appear trivial for you guys, but for many they are not.

I hope i can find enough time over the holidays to have it done in 1-2 weeks time.

It's no secret I spend more time on coding and scheming in my evil lab than I do writing documentation. I know exactly what the macro can do, but my marketing is trash.

once you guys get that stuff all documented - if you wanted me to do a vid I would love to!

would be cool, I guess it would be a good idea to mark a line in the sand to say this where we we want to get to, and then just make tweaks here and there..

I still see on the map GOD refinement quests, Fix up the Alliance quest, work up the Artisan Prize craft quests, and whatever else I forgot..

Ok, i have all the trophy. I would like to raise 1 TS to 300, would say, Research. What i need to do? It is not crystal clear in instruction and i dont speak english very well. Is there a simple command like /mac tsc research ??

EDIT: LOL, i type this and my toon is going to crescent reach right now. i will see if that will raise him to 300.
REEDIT: finally, it only go get some reciepe and stop.
Oh, and im on test, should it work on test?

If i type /mac TSC Skillup brews, i got this: Unable to find TS_tradeskill□ S_brews.ini file in Tradeskill directory

Yes, works on test or live. At the point of raising your your skills, you will need to edit the recipes to make what items you want to make. The research ini is just a basic ini for specific items to increase your skill. you will still need the items to make them. command to run those would be /mac tsc skillup research
this will only make the recipes that you can skill up on. however if you need a component from a non skillup recipe you will have to set that at the amount you want to make and run /mac tsc make research

run /mac tsc
this will give you the help menu, you can learn how to do all of what you want there. haha

once you get your trophy leveled up you can check out the Artisan Prize macro on the forums.

Ok, i was thinking there was default receipe to reach 300 like the Brewing 300 who is fantastic.

You could get a bunch of supplies (Ethernere Essence and Stone of Marking) and run this until you max out. Put this in a guidestone.ini file and run /mac tsc skillup guidestone

I began to work on the documentation.

I basically sorted everything that was there already, finished sentences, cared about punctuation. Did some descriptions. Added some links.Made a FAQ section. Filled the instrction sections with instructions. Its far from being done.

Whilst content still needs to be reworked and added one can now see the intended structure of the documentation. Please check it, and give me feedback if you are ok where this is headed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Some knowledge can be gained by that already.

There are way too many commands. Most of the commands are not useful to have as choices as a user.
All the sim things or the individual steps of bying, making etc.. Its not wrong to have that, its just too much, too overwhelming for someone who is not into the stuff.
Most will come here for a simple solution. Which is provided, but also hidden and not easy to be found. Which will lead to questions and complains due to misunderstandings. Nobody wants that.

So whilst sorting thru the mess, i found these 3 command lines in different places.

1. /mac TSC Beginner Jewelry
2. /mac TSC Beginner Research
3. /mac tsc beginner pottery

This is what they mean:

1. Runs you to WFP and turns in everything and gets the trophy. NOTE: You have to have made everything first!

2. Does the TSS Research Quest in Crescent Reach.

3. Goes to Abysmal sea. Does the freebie Quest for pottery until you reach skill 50+. Goes to Plane of Knowledge. Gets sufficient money from the bank. Goes to West Freeport to get the trophy quest. Buys all necessary materials. Crafts the items. Goes back to Freeport. Turns the items in to finish the quest and gets the Beginner Pottery Trophy!

Easy to see the problem here. 3times the same command line. 3 different meanings.

Number 3 is what i think it should be. A one stop BEGINNER solution to get the user from 0 skill to 54 and Trophy in one tradeskill in like 1 hour of time.

So here is my suggestion: The Macro should have useful sized modules, which can be triggered as time, money and farming situation permits.

I suggest the following modules, per tradeskill. I use pottery as an example.

/mac TSC Beginner PotteryDoes the freebie Quest for pottery until you reach skill 50+.
/mac TSC TSS PotteryDoes the freebie Quest for pottery in Abysmal Sea!
/mac TSC GOD PotteryDoes the freebie Quest for pottery in Crescent Reach!
/mac TSC Trophy PotteryGoes to Plane of Knowledge. Gets sufficient money from the bank. Goes to West Freeport to get the trophy quest. Buys all necessary materials. Crafts the items. Goes back to Freeport. Turns the items in to finish the quest and gets the Beginner Pottery Trophy!
/mac TSC Skill PotteryTurns on skill up mode for pottery. Auto-swaps trophies.

So either do Stage 1 and 2 (as outlined in the Overview pre-text) together or individually as you see fit. Then go skill up (stage 3).

The only additional option i would suggest offer is a mode where it checks for missing products in the trophy quests. /mac TSC Trophy missing pottery - If crafting attempts failed, TSC.mac shops for and makes the missing products.

Ugh, Wall of Text. Sorry.

overall great mac. I have been using it for the trophy tasks on some alts. I noticed it does a good job of buying supplies and making combines. But consistently doesn't close vendor or tradeskil windows and that leads to it stalling out.

I've not seen either of those... anyone else?

simplicity and scope creep have guided the documentation. /mac tsc pot /mac tsc crpot, I suppose we could change the pot to TSSPot.. or maybe TPoT and CPot..

/Mac TSC Beginner anything is the ultimate goal of running any pre-req quest to reach 54 ,get the associated quest, and then to make the trophy and turn it in.. not sure if this needs changing.. It does work in the 3 ways, run it solo, run it in a chain, run it to do the solo and make the trophy..

This discussion should translate into the documentation akin to:

Basic Commands - (getting stuff done)

/mac tsc crpot - solo quest
/mac tsc creebies - TSS chain quest
/mac tsc beginner pottery

yes I am still stuck on the 3 ways.. I see people using all 3..

Advanced Commands - (icing on the cake)

Research is included in the GOD chain, we could move that to the TSS Chain.. we could also chain everything for TSS and GOD..

if we run TSC freebies it does all the GOD and the 1 TSS Research which I think is a good idea overall. It allows you to refine materials to get to 350 and preps you for the trophies, and of course learns the 350 recipes..

We can add research to the TSS chain also, so it hits both, the worst that can happen is that it just says recipes and gets them and takes up 45 seconds..

It does have a lot of commands and is featurific.. we can put the basics in the online instruction and have the more in-depth commands within the macro help.

Basic Commandsexchange "pottery" accordingly: tailoring, smithing, fletching, brewing, cooking, alchemy, poison, research, jewelry, tinkering
---
/mac tsc beginner potteryGets the character to skill 50+ in this tradeskill. Does the beginner trophy quest for this tradeskill in West Freeport. (see instructions for requirements)
---
/mac tsc cr potteryDoes the pottery quest in Crescent Reach.
/mac tsc tss potteryDoes the pottery quest in Abysmal Sea.
/mac tsc trophy potteryDoes the beginner trophy quest in West Freeport. (see instructions for requirements)
---
/mac tsc cr allDoes all free tradeskill quests in Crescent Reach in one go.
/mac tsc tss allDoes all free tradeskill quests in Abysmal Sea in one go.
/mac tsc trophy allDoes all beginner trophy quests in West Freeport. (see instructions for requirements)

I agree, 3-ways is best. Very flexible.
New toons would make things in one go.
Toons with a longer history can do parts.
Toons only doing one tradeskill (for epics etc.) can do it tradeskill-wise. Perfect.

So your basic command section for this part of the macro would look like the table above then. Everything else would go into "Advanced Commands".

I can make the change as soon as you give me the go that you changed the code.
Meanwhile i will check the new sections Alliance and skill ups in game.
I will also complete the instructions part for the other tradeskills that require non-shoppable materials and try to cut overview more to the chase.

Merry Chrismas :)

Are there any tradeskill TLO's out there? more specific, ones that can show you the recipe ID?

having trouble with eqtc,, an arrow say the recipe id is 21704 and a tinkering item says 21704.. so I am pretty sure the arrow is right,, but no idea what the tinker item should be..

I made all the changes, but one..

I left out..

/mac tsc trophy pottery

it is either accomplished in the chain to get the quest, or trophy all, or when you try to make the beginner trophy.

I will release soon..

the names are: pottery, baking, smithing, poison, alchemy, tinkering, research, tailoring, brewing, and fletching

Updated overview section, command section, instruction section and FAQ section.
I am sure more question will come in time. I will add them to FAQ then.

With regard to the materials that can not be vendor bought.
I put what i found into the instruction section. Added links of how and where to get them.
For four tradeskills its still missing tho. Are there lists already for materials the player needs to provide for tailoring, smithing, cooking and poison? Or do i have to dig the things out myself? Will do it if needed be. Anyhow these instructions can also be added later.

Please check for errors.

Other than that, i think its ready to go. Good Job!

CannonballDex has the list of stuff needed somewhere... maybe a few pages back?

jb321 updated Tradeskill Construction Set |Quests:GOD,TSS,POK,POR Freebie Assister with a new update entry:

Ogre Love and more..

TSC 3.6b Ogre Love

Ogre Navigation Edition!

Credits: Robahn for translating TSC commands into english concisely.

Notes:

Should not run into the Oven in CR anymore to bake..
Should no longer dance on Cook Cosey's table
Should no longer hurt too much to be an ogre walking around trying to do tradeskills in abysmal sea or crescent reach...

Read the rest of this update entry...

looks like he already edited everything in

keep in mind it is GOD Abysmal Sea and TSS Crescent Reach, no CR...
so it is:

/mac tsc TSS pottery / all - quests in Absymal Sea
/mac tsc GOD pottery / all - quests in Crescent Reach

right?

Correcting it.

If i still got it wrong, just correct the mistakes in the sections.

I put some stuff in the instructions area, might want to double check it, but it's fairly complete list.
Awesome. I formatted it quickly like the rest and now its fantastic. Thank you.
