For the recipes after the trophy quests, what are you using as a guide? I'm not really ready to push past the trophies much but I want to make sure I'm keeping the right mats. I looked through the files and I think I can pick the items out but wondered if there was a somewhat complete list that is not mixed with code. The guides on EQTC are a bit dated. Thanks

No, trying to fiilter out the junk beyond the trophies. Not much is made that is useful up to 300 skill or so. That means most TS items aren’t needed for much except increasing skill. Some are not useful at all. Instead of keeping every single TS item I loot, I want to just keep what is going to help me skill up when I go back and start working on skills. Most guides on EQTC seem to be dated as they talk about going here or there for mats based on what race you are.

I’m not in an in-game financial situation where I can buy mats so I need to make sure I’m collecting what is needed for skill ups only. I know tradeskills are one of the biggest/most challenging aspects of the game. Just trying to find a cost effective path to 200+

I am actually working on a side venture to do skill ups to 300, I will be adding these in, like brew to 248... for baking I use hobgoblin meat in PON or fish like crazy in VoA, HoT.. more to come on this

So yeah, I’m not necessarily looking for a macro, just the important items to collect. I guess I’ll just make some alts and start passing all the mats to them as I progress. Seems to be what everyone else does lol.

To my knowledge if you don't do the GOD freebies you will be unable to refine certain types of materials which are used in other combines. you will not be able to do the beginner tinkering trophy.

CR will get you to be able to just make regular items.. that have no special requirements. it also provides faction "Crystal Wing" and experience.

Crescent Reach has 3 forges, I can only use the one in the middle, is there a way to itemtarget a specific forge.. ?

Might be able to get next to the forge with mq2nav and get the id of the forge might be useful. Just a quick thought. There is a way to get the specifics on a forge, I don't remember it right now.

The issue is, we can get to the forge, and if we are positioned we get the proper forge with /itemtarget. if not it uses some other forge and

I put in LOS for everything so once I did that, I had to fix some banker code, and the smith Crescent Reach quest has become problematic..

but at least you wont craft through the wall to use the kiln or bank from the rooftops

might as well get the trophy. Then equip it as you go from 320 to 350

I don't know much about the trophy's but if I do the beginner trophy on my other Tradeskills will the trophy evolve? Or do I need to do it again to get the Journeyman trophy?

No if you talk to the person to get the quest it's snap shots your current skill level and gives you the trophy for it. If you out skill your trophy they have a mini quest to combine a scorecard and your trophy to level it to what is the closest trophy to your skill.

I don't know much about the trophy's but if I do the beginner trophy on my other Tradeskills will the trophy evolve? Or do I need to do it again to get the Journeyman trophy?

At that stage you will get an evolved trophy already, but the recipes to get the trophy are harder at higher levels, more ingredients and farmed stuff.

The trophy will level on anything not trivial to your skill. And for beginners it won't gain exp for anything 30 above your skill till 100 which then it will go to 50 above till 150 then 75 till 200 and then it will get exp on all combines

So, I have tested with gnomes most of the time for going to and from items and npcs, and I have found that short classes stop faster, and bigger classes take longer to slow down.. which means I need to have them all go to the same spot instead of hoping they make it close enough..

LOS works pretty darn good in POK, but elsewhere, not so much..
