Level isn't an issue (he's 100+)

If I try to run "/mac TSC alch" it ends the macro saying I don't have the proper bag in my inventory for alchemy, but I do have a Medicine Bag in slot 9. I moved the bag around to slot 1, 8, 10, etc. to try to see if that was the issue, but got the same result each time.

However, I DID just simply do "/mac TSC Freebies" and walked away. If done that way, I came back to find it was trying to do the Alchemy task (it actually got the task from the NPC and was attempting the combines). Now, it wasn't doing it properly because of my bag situation, but at least it had the materials in inventory and was trying to do the combine. I had to end the mac to change bags around, and after I tried to restart it, it again wouldn't start using "/mac TSC Alch"

I could probably try just letting it run all the tasks again from the start of "/mac TSC Freebies" until it gets back to alchemy, but bleh.... that sucks lol
 
Looks like if I just start it via "/mac TSC Freebies" after making room in a top-level normal bag (not a TS bag), it'll go try to do all previous quests, see they're done, and eventually get back to alchemy. It's not perfect, but it is now working.
 
So, I forced it to work by commenting out all the bag/level/class checks in TSC.mac. It's now running the quest arc, but it ends prematurely before its completely done.

When i ran the shopmake on brewing it seems to forget about lemonade. When i ran the gettrophy on pottery it doesnt hand in the pots.

SOrry if this not the place to post.

Research isn't working... are Tinkering and Poisonmaking supposed to work also? The others ran pretty smooth on my little Gnome Rogue I made to test this out.
This is for the Newbie Quests only so far.

I am about to try the other features after I was to hopefully figure out why its not working or just manually have to do it.
 
I don't think Alchemy is quite there yet. It starts (using TSC Freebies) but it doesn't get all the way to skill level 54 before it aborts and tries to launch the WFP trophy. My toon gates out of AS runs to WFP and gets the trophy quests except Alchemy. Since the skill level is still too low for Alchemy to get the quest it aborts and runs back to POK. All other skills worked fine.
 
I found my issue for Research.. I had a hybrid kit instead of Melee /Rogue type kit, so research skipped and it wouldn't move onto Poison Making until that was rectified. I did have to manually do the tinkering though.
 
Okay, so I wasn't smart back in the day and have some trophy quests that aren't the beginner versions (master, expert, etc)... any way to have this script do those, too? If it does, I've not figured it out.

those are probably not vendor bought items, so I guess its gonna be hard to do it the easy way
 
So...I'm still having trouble making this work and I'm sure it is user error as I'm a full-on noob at this stuff. I was able to get the TSC Freebie to work and get the beginning trophy quests. I'm trying to now do the trophy quest for alchemy. When I run the /mac TSC shop alchemytrophy the mac launches and does the following:

but my shammy never moves and nothing is bought. I also don't see any SL inis created. Is there a step I am missing?
 
Encountered a point where I had to do some TS, so I figured I would start with the freebies. I didn't start with the portable kits in my inventory (mixing bowl, etc) and it got far enough to to to WFP and request trophy quests for what skills it did level up. It stopped at this point. I then went and grabbed the missing kits and started back up. After getting to Abysmal, it ran around a bit (I'm guessing to check whether it needed to do the basic stuff) and then got to the smith there and just kept failing.

I stopped the macro and ran it again to see what was, specifically, was failing.

that looks like you're trying to do a combine, in a container, in a bag. try it with the container in one of the 10 slots not in a bag, if u know what i mean.
 
I thought the point was it would handle all of the container swapping for me. It clearly says in the help that it won't continue on if it doesn't have all the portable containers on my toon. And there's no way I can have all of them in main inventory slots.
 
Alright, I will get my lazy carcass to work. These issues seem weird after they .."worked" before.. or maybe some of us were lucky, I will take a look.

So, I have only done the CR Research freebie. The other CRs could be done, the reason I did not do them, they only get you to the skill of 50 no other bennys, they do not let you refine materials for GOD which is beneficial later. The other consideration is pathing/navigation. GOD quests are setup to chain on after the other and then run to CR to do research if the character is able.

This was an email question but I thought I would throw it in the thread.

They are alot quicker to get through though, and get you to where you can get your trophies. The pathing, and those stupid elevators suck though lol
 
Nice work here, ran this without a hitch once I equipped myself with the proper tradeskill containers needed. /mac tsc freebies
Did have a little problems buying the supplies for brewing. missed a few items, cup of sugar, hops and water flask, also lemon. If I looked in the right place the only one I seen missing from vendor list was lemon on denrum. (Note) Could have possibly bought them but failed the combine, didn't really watch the buying.
added that but continued manually to the claim trophy part which went flaweless to turn in items and get the trophy.

Added: You can also get all of the items needed for jewelry like black pearl from vet reward summon agent.

I just downloaded but the alchemy is still not seeing my medicine bag in inventory. I noticed a previous solution but i cannot find where to copy and paste it.

Any help would be appreciated.

What class and is the medicine bag in a primary slot? Also, which part of the quest are you trying run, I assume the freebies? Haven't really looked at alchemy, but I will today.

Yeah I tried it in primary slot and in a bag with an open slot. I tried replacing the 0's with 1s as mentioned above but still no joy.

I am a shamen

I am a level 115 shamen with an alchemy skill of 300. Quest will not start say i need a bag which i have.

I modified the macro myself and it is working.

Here is what I have with adding the Tailoring and Smithing, updating some of the vendor stuff and stuff.

NOTE: Until all available vendor items have been added to the VendorFile.ini , you may have to delete the shopping list file from time to time to catch updates.

Super awesome fun. Thanks for the work! I ran the smithing trophy and ran into 2 challenges.

1. I failed the combines for the smoker. What is the best option to correct that? I figured i could rerun the program but instead I just manually bought and made the item.
2. 2 Bundled Acrylia Arrow Shafts are needed. They require small bricks of acrylia ore to be made. This item is not purchasable at vendors. Can notes be added into either the shopping list or the make trophy .ini that let us know what has to be farmed before we begin?

Even with these 2 challenges the program is still amazing and will save me loads of time. I really appreciate the hard work!
 
Things you should buy before you get started with the freebies, depending on your class.
This file will go around and buy the kits and tools needed for each class and then you can start the /mac tsc freebie quests. At this point I would have enough room in your inventory and an open slot for the jeweler's kit to go in the bottom right slot. run /mac buykits (Not sure if the kits will switch out on their own or not once you start doing the freebie quests, seen something about this in an earlier post.)
Jeweler's Kit
Fletching Kit
Mixing Bowl
Deluxe Toolbox
Medicine Bag
Mortar and Pestle
Research Kit
Spit

Yes, this is an issue when you fail a combine, because the macro is set up to make a specific amount of items and when you fail one it leaves you short. You could either start the macro over or change the amount of items needed (the ones you might fail at a higher level) and then you will just end up with extra items.

On the second issue, it did make a post about this :)

But yeah, this could be added to give notification in the macro under hints or something, but I'm just doing what I can here to fill in some of the gaps. :)

Edit: I updated the zip file to include the buykits.mac and changed the unfired smoker to make 4 instead of 2, hopefully this gives you 2 chances to fail before not having enough to finish. This item is a skill level 82 when your sitting in the mid 50s. :)

FIXED the issue with not finding the medicine bag, also fixed the issue with the alchemy god quest not finishing. Tested and ran flawlessly. It's all in the zip file.

The Smithing, all you should need in your inventory for this is a Small Brick of Acrylia Ore or a Large Brick of Acrylia Ore the recipe will break down into Small bricks.

You are correct - I completely missed your note about the acrylia ore. Good Idea to change the smoker to 4.

you do them each independently

/Mac tsc help - type this and all the commands will scroll through for you. I get mixed up myself and use that command to get it right
