Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (2 Viewers) 4.1991b

I generated a mass list, and clicked the request missing button.
It is cycling through items, saying stuff like "Does anyone have Lizard Mean in the bank?" but it's not actually sending any Dannet messages.
What am I doing wrong?
 
The prize.db does not have the trivial order, that is in the MasterRecipeTable.
Are you saying that it runs through the list in order that is listed in the prize db table, and if I want to change the order combines are done in, I just change the order of recipes listed in the prize db?
What I am saying is there is nothing that currently ties the prize.db to a trivial, which as understood , the trivials are in the master recipe table. I am also saying the prize.db was and is intended to be modified by the user to their liking. All that said I would have to either add a field to prize.db for the trivial going forward which would wreck everyone who already has it set up, because it would need to be overwritten.

Or I could get the trivial and sort when I read the unknown list, which would add.. a bit of time, probably palpable time, probably unbearable time. The caveat being if I use array manipulation.

If I do it the SQL way, it should be way faster, or the hope.

Essentially, I need to think about if I want to do this, and if so, what is a painless, expedient way, I also need to think about the ramifications of the order, is it counter-productive to make a rod, wheel, and a window in a specific order , or if it will cause an issue. I know there are instances where an item that is needed is made prior to when it is called for to be learned in the list. However, I would make this an option, I wouldn't make it do it all day every day unless it has user input.

The value proposition isn't there for me, if one recipe is 400 and the other is 450 and I am at 300 for the skill, the chance is a couple of percent difference.

dunno, as DanNet is not in my wheelhouse, I just use it.. However, I would test if Dannet works outside of TCN first, because I just tested it again yesterday and it worked. Additionally, is this standard, batch, artisan, item request, they all use the same thing..

When Dannet has not worked in the past I blew away network/firewall settings: (NUCLEAR OPTION)

Windows Box: Run Elevated Command Prompt..

ipconfig /flushdns #Clear the dns cache
nbtstat -RR #release and refresh NetBIOS names
netsh int ip reset #Reset the IP configurations
netsh winsock reset #Resets the Winsock Catalog to a clean state
netsh interface ip delete arpcache #Flushes the ARP cache for one or all interfaces
netsh advfirewall reset #Resets the policy to the default out-of-box policy
 
So I am not sure if this is 100% TCNext or not, but it is the only new thing I have when this started and seems to only happen when running this. I just purchased the license yesterday and immediately began using it. Honestly I hate tradeskills, always have, they are annoying, but with this I was able to get alchemy from 25 to 143 in no time and it didn't bother me, just started it let it do its thing and on another monitor watched some star wars. Definitely interested in working every tradeskill now. Now onto the problem, so the skill up, getting to 145 no problems at all what so ever. Well now being able to I wanted to make a small stock of major transformation potions for my non gate toons since I can now, well this is when the problem started, it seemed like after about 5 or 10 it would crash EQ no warning or error code that I could find, just crash it. I use ISBoxer normally and thought maybe that's the problem, nope used a regular client from the eq launcher and still crashed to desktop. This is the only time this has happened, when using TCNext, everything was up to date and current. Not sure where to go from here to try and fix the problem since no error was presented just a crash to desktop.
CTDs are a difficult one, does the crash say mq2.Lua, eqgame.exe? If at all possible I try to install on a new system or in a VM (if not on anti-vm server). CTD's are typically understand and handled by the Devlords, I am just doing the Lua, additionally, my supposition is if it were my code then this would happen to everyone. So it is either random, or a sequence of plugins, other macros/luas, something else.

I'll look at reordering the research, poison and alchemy sections of the Max_Trophy_Table on my machine to suit.

Just as a note, I am open to other people having ideas, but also, ways to do said idea.. as well..
 
Any reason why TCN is trying to create 50 "Mithril Working Knife's" for the Mithril Fletchings sub-combine for the Mithril Champion Arrows when the item is returned on combine? My settings had Sell and continue checked with the Qty set to 1000.

Restarted a bit later from PoK and it kept trying to make the Mithril Fletchings from the fletching table at the small bank instead of the Feir`Dal Fletching Kit which was in my inventory.

Most likely because I have to flag it as a tool for it to only make 1.

I will put it out later,, but if you add it to the tooltable table in the artisan.db it should work:

Breaking in the tires... getting errors on various characters. One task stopped 16/20. I haven't audited them to see how many completed and how many remain. I needed to click start several times to get things going again after random stops (with no info as to why, but the script stopped and they just sat there in Crescent Reach). This is the tss sequence.

I went and bought a mortar pestle for this case. Hopefully it will finish this one. I just wish I knew if the entire TSS sequence was successfully completed because there were so many random stoppings (and some tasks I needed to turn in the 20 items on some but not others).

I checked on a live server and checked the name Poisoner Kamuzu and it can find it. What is your scenario?

It is getting caught up on passing a NIL to the movement to the NPC, are you running any other macros or any plugins or anything that auto-clears the target?

Live server in Crescent Reach. No other macros running. I kept restarting it. I ran it over to the Poisoner and bought one.

This exception was thrown when trying to get Smudged Rough Paper from the bank for the combine Spell: Mammoth-Hide Guard Rk. II.
When this error occurs, the mouse gets disabled, F11 does not fix, so it's /quit and the reload.
On coming back into the game, when I run /lua run tcn and start research artisan again, it will successfully grab the item from the bank and then do the combine without issue ... until next time, 10 or 50 combinations down the track, where it will again crash.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Random issues with C++ exceptions, cancel xmas.

Anyone having issues since the patch yesterday? All of a sudden it is giving me this error and won't do anything. It was working fine before the patch.
Edited to add: This seems to only happen when working on Pottery. I switched to baking and it is working. Any ideas how to fix the pottery?

gonna need a little more, like the recipe, live or test, and the general location of that container.

I just did a bowl and it worked fine in POK.

Tab= Craft>>Artisan>>Fletching... the text for "Check Guild Hall Bank" & "Check Dragons Hoard Bank" is RED in color= My character is NOT checking either of these locations for materials. Also, the tabs: Shopping, Bank, Depot, Missing are RED in color and do not generate lists.

Otherwise, everything else seems to be working fine. Also, the functions that are, in my experience: erroring, used to work perfectly.

Any ideas what to do?

i merged your post into the discussion thread for TCN - please try and ensure you're posting in the discussion thread for a resource and make the resource owner's life a little easier

The main reason it would be nil is the name is not passed or the target is not selected at least from TCN and Lua.. So I ran TSS for a good while yesterday and no issues. So it involves digging deeper with regards to your local system.

The last person that had issues similar to this was auto login and hot keys. This is what I have in the FAQ:


Having trouble with the install from the setup or tabs are red that should not be like depot:

Make sure there are no mapped keys interfering from something else, example Autologin.

Yes, I did read that in the FAQ... but to be honest, i do not quite understand ;/ I'm unsure if I have any mapped keys that could/would interfere & as for autologin: Do you mean do not log in through MQ profiles & instead l should login through EQ normal or patch Launcher when I plan to use this resource?

UPDATE:
ok: I turned off autologin (I think! >> typed /plugin autologin unload. seems to have unloaded/turned off autologin.
I then Logged in through EQ launcher... still experiencing same RED text perceived errors.

The second thing is, if everything is red, click the generate mass list button, because it won't display anything until it runs through the list.

I mean if it is interfering there is some key or something being set which is prohibiting the operation. But if everything is red it sounds like the mass generation didn't happen and needs to be clicked.


I just ran through fishing list, and was able to check both DH and GHB.

Sorry about that! I wasn't sure what you would need. This is Live. The recipe is Unfired Sword of War. I removed all TS containers from my inventory and it gives the same error. I am in POK as well.

I just tried skipping that recipe and it is back working as normal. Maybe it is just something with that one? Thank you!

It is fairly isolated I see 3 recipes that use the Tanaan wheel, I will check them.

Unfired Hammer of Innovation 295 1 Tanaan Pottery Wheel
Unfired Sacred Urn >300 1 New Tanaan Pottery Wheel
Unfired Sword of War 295 1 Tanaan Pottery Wheel

I believe I just need to put "New" in front of it..

The good news: Just that recipe..

The other news: The container is New Tanaan Pottery Wheel, EQTC says Tanaan Pottery Wheel..

but either way fixed and releasing soon.

I called that the Baller add-on.. which I did not forget about, just to allay fears, it is not a cost, just what the working title is.
 
I haven't looked up MQ2Vendors, does it purchase or just alert? If it purchases that may fubar stuff
It's just an alert that the vendor has something on my list, purchasing must be done manually :)

I did confirm, that is what the quest window shows as well.
 
Anyone else have any trophy quest wrong recipe issues, I have corrected Expert Tailor, but want to do a quick check before I put out a release.

Additionally, Zam doesn't say the same thing for the recipe order, and for transparency, the whole trophy test entries for expert tailor were wrecked. I thought I squashed this months ago, but, thought wrong.

Currently doing trophies for alts. Only thing I have ran into so far is Aligned Ore to Aligned Steel. ( Completely my fault as I haven't done the mini quest on that. ) All were with heroic characters. 150 Freshman tests.
