Question - Top class SoR?

Just curious
Having not played since October and thinking of coming back.
In years past a class or two always seem to rise to the top of the parse. For example, few years ago it was necros. More recently it was monks.
So with the new expansion has anything been showing really impressive numbers yet?

Mages and Wizards are doing the top damage on live now that they gave spells a very generous boost and swapped SPA's around.

You mean time to roll Mages. Keep those Necros they are still solo monsters along with Mages.

If Mages can use their big specialized nuke (Expunge the Unnatural is current version) they can absolutely dominate the parse. The T1 Waxwork Abolition event is a good example because nearly every mob in the event is considered a summoned creature. And you can multibind the 2 latest versions and have almost zero casting delay.

There may be enough "unnatural" mobs in the SoR expansion to dedicate at least one spell slot to this spell line.

I have a char with 130 max AA Enchanter and Bard. I swap them out depending on circumstances. If I want to explore a new area or a known swarming place, I use Enc - far better crowd control. If I want all out DPS it's Bard.

best class is always a gray area in my opinion, lot of it depends on gearing aa augs progression etc.

most improved? definitely casters this go around ive even seen enchanters breaking 3 million dps on the current T1 SoR raids, wizards and mages are a tie for most improved if you ask me

its nice to finally see casters get some much needed love, even if the new expansion is hot garbage content wise

BST is like an enchanter for melee. So your tank and bard would suffer from the loss of the bst.
