yeah, they usually do it 7 days after

least year was the 10th for pre-orders

for > me < it is a huge waste on xpacs that don't level increase (and a waste in general) --- tob is a non-level increasing xpac, so huge waste imo

some features you only get with the xpacs unless you go buy them in marketplace (when they have them), so some folks might want/need to do that

but yeah i agree it is scummy

Depends on your finances. I order the cheapest version possible for my 3 mains when expansions are first released and save the other higher packs for now, with the sale and now is when I also picking up any basic copies for the alts that might need it

I have to juggle the finances cause this time of year is Holiday spending.

I first read the title and was like.... ToB for only 25% of cost.... then I realized it was save 25%. I went from fantasies of catching some of my toons up on expansions. Then watched my fantasies get bashed on the shores of South Ro! So close, but yet so far.

Funnily enough, when I started playing in ~2000, myself and my ogre shaman friend spent alot of time hunting on that very beack. And Lockjaw was always a threat I FD'd on and let my buddy take it for the team. Then I'd drag him to the docks to get a rezz. Such fond memories!
