Hey friends,

I'm playing on the Teek TLP server and am 5 boxing and considering a 6th

I have a War(SK)/Brd/Clr/Mnk/Mnk . I feel i need shaman slow for raid content, especially if i use the SK persona.

Im not sure i want to 6 box, would dropping a dps for a shaman just to have slow be a bad move? alternatively would adding a 6th shaman be a good choice?

tia

Hard to say, haven't boxed without MQ in years at this point

Shm is a strong choice

Hey!

I spend more time on TrueBox TLPs than I'd like to admit since I develop software for em! Speaking of which, feel free to check out the experimental of IonBC 2 if you're ever interested!

Now that my shameless plug is out of the way, you could reliably drop a DPS for SHM if you wanted to. You could also drop the CLR as SHMs can pretty reliably heal a group in PoP+, you would just be missing rez until OoW (when Incarnate Anew comes out, don't have to wait until SoD anymore hoorah!).

Alternatively, you could run a PAL as tank if swapping the CLR for SHM. This would allow for supplemental heals while also allowing the group to maintain rez in the current era. You'd also be able to keep both the MNKs that way allowing your group to maintain it's current DPS output.

I currently run PAL, SHM, ENC, BRD, ROG, BST and have been able to reliably do all group content and all one/two groupable raid content so I wouldn't worry too much about running a SHM as a main healer!

Most importantly, you should run what you enjoy! Regardless of what's better or worse, if you're not having fun then there's little point!

That's my two cents anyhow :)

Thanks that's good advice. I do spend most of my time doing raid content with limited numbers, i rarely do group content with my time (hooray for aoe power levelers) i will likely keep with the cleric for now and test out a 6th account for when i need shaman utility
