Problem - The same character crashes every time I load it 2-4 times before it works

As the subject says, The same character crashes every time I load it 2-4 times before it works. 115 wizard, same stuff loaded as the other toons, its always him, never anyone else. generally crashes within 1 minute of getting loaded. The entire client its loaded on just poofs.

MQ2zerker is doing it also he loads in i turn it on doesnt work so i turn it off loadskin and crash has happened 8 times now also not getting the window.

try and unload mq2autoloot, its been buggy lately and might cause unwanted crashes

if you have a .dmp file i can take a look and take a look if there is anything obvious about the cause. keep in mind there may be personal information in a dmp (so pm it to me).

if you are using MQ Next - you can turn on automatic crash reporting and brain and co. will get them

reloading your ui with macroquest2/eq can cause crashes - you should have the plugin loaded when you log in the game and then you don't need to reload your ui for the ui window to show.

I fixed two crashes in reloadui in MQ (not saying there aren't more but it should at least be a little more stable than what MQ2 was). At the time I fixed it, I also broke UI loading for custom UIs...and fixed that later :P

I think what I need to do is add an optional tag in the MacroQuest.ini so that people can tag their crash dumps and we can easily find them.

All of the above.... was using MQ2 and it was doing it, used MQnext and its doing it too.

Have nothing else running that isnt running on all my toons.

I wasnt aware it was even on.... I dont have this issue on any other toon and i have 6 loaded.

Where do i get this dmp file and/or turn on crash reporting? There's not even an error message... it just straight up crashes to desktop with no warning.

when i do /loadskin im not crashing anymore but still not getting the box for mq2zerker.

Nm i fixxed it by doing /zerker show TY!

I dont have autoloot on. Still crashing straight to desktop no errors.

Hey Myysterio this sounds like the same thing thats going on with me. Have you tried to give an item to one of your group and see if it crashes them?

Side Note for Knightly I loaded up a couple of toons without loading the launcher (just straight logging in.) I don't have any crashes. I can give things and do other stuff that was causing me to crash.
Gona run the launcher and load a few toons using just MQ2 Live and see what happens.

The trading issue is a different issue, that’s MQ2AutoLoot and I fixed that we just haven’t built since I fixed it.

I am constantly handing things to my group and it works fine. I only have issues randomly, mostly while trying to get started and running macros and while sitting there doing absolutely nothing.

Deleted all my character files, UI , and the standard "corrupted files" daybreak tells you to delete and reinstall and still having the issue. There's no crash dmp file I'm aware of, EQ is just closing periodically on this one character only.
