Question - Swap in a zerker for my bard or ench?

Ok, so I really enjoy my group so not swapping stuff around won't break my heart. (nec is my main, so he's gotta stay)

War
Clr
Ench
Brd
Beast


I realized that when I was last playing I got a Zerk to 105 (0 aa's, but that is quickly fixed). Do you think it would be worth it to swap out the bard or the ench for the zerk? if so, which?

As I said, I really do enjoy my group, but I don't even have chanter on mez duty, so I'm wondering if having both bard and ench is overkill these days

Just kidden. I didn't like my necro though. So not sure what to go with keeping the necro :-x

Bard is awesome :-), Using SK, Zerk, Brd, Mage, Clr, Shm myself. Might not be ideal but just rotating through classes to try em out.
 
Just an opinion but I would maybe remove the enchanter especially if you aren't using him for mezzing. The bard could mez some if you really needed and since I don't see a porter of any kind his speed would come in handy. Plus bard can be a good puller for your group. He can also compliment the war/beast/zerk by boosting melee dps.

I recently returned and messing around on test. My planned group right now is war/clr/bard/enc/mage/wiz to learn multi boxing since it'll be easier to manage for me.

I manually play my necro and do all the pulling with him, and I still top dps, but I'm starting to think my having both the bard and ench isn't as useful.

Normally I'd just give it a whirl, but since I'm just returning to the game, I wouldn't want to buy TBL on an account that I might swap out

Zerker's are top teir DPS and require little to no downtime compared to other classes. My Mage will be oom and my zerker still sitting at almost full Endurance and will top the chart for DPS. I've found them to be a more reliable form of DPS than casters, plus you have a bard which means max haste 100% of the time. Makes them even more of a key DPS figure. Throw in a shaman for the ADPS with zerkers doing as much as 45 or so swings in a single round you got yourself a monster.

Top one is my Zerker at 15k AA's, next in line is the mage with 18k AAs. and then on down the line for other classes. My shaman is still only 90's (still using max level 90 spells) and that honestly isn't even an optimized DPS output for my zerker, as discing does in the range of 400k DPS and non-disc average of about 140k dps
 
Replace enchanter with zerk. No question. You don't need a bard and a chanter, esp. if you don't cc or pull with chanter. Zerker shd soon take top dps in your group. If he doesn't, change your macro.

to be honest IMHO ideal group is sk shaman bard and 3 zerkers, mobs go down so fast you wouldn't believe it. ( you can drop a zerker for a cleric for really tough named etc)
 
I've been convinced (guess it didn't take that much).

I'm just going to buy the xpac on my zerker since I'll eventually want my main 6 to have to xpac anyhow - 0 AAs, but that can be fixed soon

I run SK, Cleric, Rogue, Beastlord, Zerker (Zerker, EnChanter or Bard). We roll through everything, with no crowd control, like a knife through butter.
 
Uh. You guys weren't kidding. Zerker is stupid damage. Mine still has empty gear slots and a lvl 101 weapon and like 100AA over auto-grant, but it is melting stuff

This is a game changer
 
Make sure you get the Dichotomic Rage Combat Ability in Plane of Tranquility at level 101!
Use War Cry of the Braxi then use Dicho for max dmg

DPS19=War Cry of the Braxi|99|Cond19
DPS20=Dichotomic Rage|99|Cond20

Cond19=!${Target.Buff[Sarnak Finesse].ID} && ${Me.CombatAbilityReady[${Spell[Dichotomic Rage].RankName}]}
Cond20=${Target.Buff[Warcry of the Braxi].ID}

Both of these abilities have a 1 minute cooldown. So go together perfectly!
That's where the below "Max Hit" for 1.15m dmg comes from for the berserker. So you could potentially do that much dmg every 1 minute!

Also should be noted I've done no progression to get a higher level Dicho, so it's still rank 1.

Average over the course of 2.022 billion dmg from my group. Zerker rocking the top spot with over 50% of the dmg and averaging 151k dps and he's not even using Frenzied Resolve (because I hate being rooted in place)

To not overskew the results, due to the beta build of Gamparse not letting me merge pets with correct owners, please add
Gonaner to Magician results.
Zanab and Kam to SK results.

The bard is often on crowd control and is not a direct reflection of his usefulness because his DPS is often calculated on a limited engagement with the actual mob.
SK isn't 110 yet and level ranged from 106 to 108 during the course of this parse.
Berserker and mage are both level 110, with the mage having 3k+ more aa's than the berserker at all times.
Cleric is shown here, but is at the very bottom. Just doesn't show their class. But based on the lack of X's there were no deaths.
The "B" in special is the SK's Harm Touch.
Shaman was level 90-102 during this parse and was only used for slow and ADPS buff.

woah man, above and beyond. thank you so much. my dude is 106 (so I can use conflag gear, and then lock down at 106 for AA grind), and the KA file I use doesn't even have braxi in it atm lol

edit --- ok so I checked, Braxi was holyshit and not in Kiss, but was still using it.

edit 2.0 - made some adjustments and doing stupid dps - like I don't even want to put on any dots with my necro cause there's no point...

Lol when this thread started I told you I got rid of my necro. At least now you see why instead of the "trust me, I know what I'm talking about" line.
