Just wondered if you can help me figure out a good way to set up group. Currently playing 6 box of SK, BST, BER, CLR, DRU, BAR

Only the zerker and SK are reasonably well equipped, and I'm pulling multiple mobs in EoK T1. Problem is, the SK pulls with Terror of Narus and heads back to the group. When he gets back and turns around, inevitibly the cleric (using Autocleric.mac) has thrown out a heal and the mobs take a disliking to that and kick him to the curb.

Chaos ensues and its a long recovery before restarting.

Any tips would be much appreciated! Not sure if I should use a different class to pull with and bring back for SK to engage, but also not sure how the engagement of mobs works for tanks when something else pulls...

My fix for this problem is SO simple! USE A BOW TO PULL! I switched to a bow and the tank (SK, War or Paladin) now NEVER gets hit on return to camp so the cleric does not have to heal his ass! Think about it....
 
I pull with another toon and have never seen this issue. Even if the cleric heals that puller. I have even pulled with my zerk snare ability. It could be that my war is snapping aggro right away (autowar). My cleric has never drawn aggro unless she is last a live.

i pull with the bard boastful bellow and then have him set to AoE mez with wave. I like to keep my tank out a little in front of the group. So the bard pulls past the tank stops at the group and casts aoe mez. If anything slips by my war it is almost instantly mezzed. Then the bard starts to cycle through mobs single target mezzing them.
 
Honestly listen to the Bow advice, Raz tipped me off to that a bit ago and my group is killing almost 2x as many mobs per hour as before when I had SK pulling with spells. Go with the bow. I use KA for my cleric/sham and they never get agro.
 
You could try adding disgust (104 ae agro spell) to your lineup i know you're using your explosion of x aa's but those have longer cooldowns and disgust will be up every fight.

Does your cleric has his subtlety aa's? because really I never notice this issue on my paladin
 
bow isn't a bad idea, I don't on my SK because he's got a rare there and I use the sk debuff to pull (Dire Strangulation) but I'll probably change that out because if it gets resisted, it's not recast when back in camp.

I would try moving the aggro spells (Impose, Terror, Torrent, Explosion) from the dps section and putting them in the aggro section with the rest of the "|100|<|MOB" with the weakest +aggro one first. No sense casting the aggro spell if you have solid aggro.

Darkie, start your /mac KA with rare range item in and KA switches it for you before mobs even gets 1 step closer :)

I was having the same thing happen.
My setup was sooo wrong and I did not know any better,
I had the Warrior designated as puller. tank, and main assist, He would go out, grab between one and 100 mobs, come back to camp and there is a small delay. The delay was just long enough to let any heal casters get into trouble. I first lowered their "to cast %" to keep them out of the foray....no good.
I then put my Ranger in the place of the Berserker, assigned the Ranger as puller w/bow and left the Warrior as tank/MA. Voila!!!! Cleared the whole frigging zone no prob.......... Well at least cleared what I could see.
Raz gives sound advice.

i realized i have a question about aggro and KA, figured i might try in this thread.

i have a warrior, i use autowarrior on him, and when my druid brings 5 mobs back to camp, he is all over the place grabbing aggro, and it works very nicely.

i also have another group where i run a sk with ka, as main tank, but if any mob on the xtarget list loses agro on him, he stays on his main target and does not go to the one he lost agro on, like autowarrior does.

is that my settings that are wrong or does ka not do that?, for now i am jjust cycling his 2 ae agro blasts, but still sometimes if healer is working overtime, and he is fighting one mob that has become sepearted he dont run to the ones hitting the healer, till his current target is done.


what can i do to make it work proper, or is that just not possible in ka?

Don't forget to account for the cleric aura if you do move :) Lower the healer start % and put promised first

i do use ae to cast different ae based taunts, but it wuld still be nice if it worked like in autowarrir, where the tank engages the mob, uses a taunt, or single target skill to gain agro then switches back to say the one with the lowest hp etc.
