In the Alternate Advancement (AA) window, the Special tab contains numerous AAs, including the following three "Hero's" AAs:

Hero's Fortitude: Increases your armor class, attack power and the maximum amount of attack you can gain from items by 10 points per rank.

Hero's Resolution: Increases your base statistics and the maximum that your base statistics can be increased by items and spells by 5 points per rank. Additionally this ability increases your natural hit point, mana and endurance regeneration and the maximum that your hit point and mana regeneration can be increased by items by 2 points per rank.

Hero's Vitality: Increases your maximum hit points, mana, endurance as well as how far below zero your hit points can fall before you die by 25 points per rank.

Now with Shattering of Ro, there are 114 ranks of Hero's Fortitude, 57 ranks of Hero's Resolution, and 114 ranks of Hero's Vitality. To Maximize the "Hero's" AAs, you will need to complete the following achievements by expansion. (Table taken and expanded from Fanra's EverQuest Wiki)

I attached my spreadsheet that I have been using to keep track of this. It is set for my team but is easily changeable, I have formulas set to count the totals per expansion and in total just because I like numbers. I just mark the cell with the number of AAs you get for that particular achievement (if you get Vitality and Resolution I put 2 when I have it, if only one put 1, etc).

Yea, I have purity augs (35) + I have the same powersource that the other toon uses.

• Hero's Fortitude: Increases your armor class, attack power and the maximum amount of attack you can gain from items by 10 points per rank.
• Hero's Resolution: Increases your base statistics and the maximum that your base statistics can be increased by items and spells by 5 points per rank. Additionally this ability increases your natural hit point, mana and endurance regeneration and the maximum that your hit point and mana regeneration can be increased by items by 2 points per rank.
• Hero's Vitality: Increases your maximum hit points, mana, endurance as well as how far below zero your hit points can fall before you die by 25 points per rank.

As of The Burning Lands, there are 60 ranks of Hero's Fortitude, 30 ranks of Hero's Resolution, and 60 ranks of Hero's Vitality.

So if you do the math you can see yes, it does make a huge difference.

For Hero's Vitality, you will get 1950 HP, Mana and End and 1950 HP after zero before you die.

For Hero's Resolution, you will get 195 point increase in your base stats that can be increased by items. For HP, Mana and END regen, it is 78.

For Hero's Fortitude, not every rank will give you an AC point. Currently at level 39, I get 32 AC and 390 increase in my attack from items.
