Hello everyone,
This is my first time boxing more than 2 toons (truebox servers). My wife during that time played shm only. Wife and I saw frostreaver and decided we would both try to 3 box manually. Currently, we've been practicing with virtual desktop switching as we have 2 monitors and then switch to 2nd desktop for 3rd account. We aren't familiar with any software and hard to find much info online. We found and was thinking about Isboxer as we are hoping to not get hit with any ban waves. I read if used MQ2 high chance of getting the hammer and we don't want that. We did find this youtube link, but friend told me that it could be classified as a "hack" tool, because it does keyboard inputs? I am not familiar enough to know.
To the questions:
#1 She wants to play 3 and decided to do War, Shm, and Clr. I decided I'll do mage, necro, bard. These are our toons we plan to raid with as well in a couple of guilds. We figured we might try our hand at hitting phinny and some plane of hate minis. The question...is this group ideal for the long run past PoR?
I have heard that classes change a lot past PoR and then don't really change again all the way to live. I however couldn't figure out what these "changes" were or obviously any further info on the classes we are interested in post PoR. Seems all data beyond that range is in the void or never recorded? We want to make sure our time
#1.1 added thoughts: Wife and I were talking and also considering this group set up: War, shm, bard, rogue, bst, druid.
#2 Would you suggest any changes to our group comp for her or myself for our goals above? Thank you for all advice provided!
Edit: I've been reading other older forum posts. It was a question on sk, shm, bard with 3 dps for sod and beyond. It suggested for melee group bst and 2 melee (zerk, ranger, rogue or double monk). I am trying to figure something out...
#3 why are they suggesting a Bst when the group has a shm for 6 box? isn't their buffs and spells similar and doesn't stack??
