I setup a new PC with windows 7 and had a dll issue for mq2main got that dll working but now having a crash at server select if mq is running. I can login then start MQ once past server select and there is no issue.

Ah ok.. Just trying to repurpose an older PC. ThanksI have installed 3 linux distros on old laptops over the last few months just to see which I like.
Try Linux. I don't know what hardware you have but I have installed 3 Linux distros on old laptops over the last few months just to see which, if any, I might like. All of them ran much better. I haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure there is a guide for EQ and MQ for Linux on RG somewhere.

Some of the "gaming" linux distros run EQ and MQ pretty much out of the box. Linux can be a rabbit hole if you like to tinker. I use Nobara linux for gaming and does really good.
