it's not easy being green...: i stand in the house, which is empty but a crate and want to dump all the collection items i have in may bags: i start mac with: /mac shiny dump and nothing happens - anything i could have forgotten? maybe a needed plug-in?

Great macro, will definitely save a ton of time managing collections for the crew.

I have ran in to some issues though. Using /mac shiny dump skipped collections from Mearatas: The Stone Demesne, but going back and using /mac shiny put TBL worked fine.

Also I have found that /mac shiny gather doesn't always get every collection within the achievement. I have gone through all of my expansions with collections, opened the tab and used /mac shiny gather and it runs but then I go and attempt /mac shiny get click and it will miss some collection items from that particular xpac. I go back and try /mac shiny gather again and then it works. Not sure what would cause this, but I had issues in multiple xpacs where I had to run the gather command more than once.

For RoF if you don't have the collectors edition it will just keep trying to claim the same item over and over getting the "You must own the Rain of Fear Collector's Edition to collect this item". I can remove the collection items associated with the collectors edition, but it would be handy if the macro would try once then move on if it gets this message.

Let me know if there is anything I can provide to help you with troubleshooting.

Anything with a comma in the collection item name is a problem when trying to add/remove from the house. No idea how I am going to work around this.

Getting/putting items into the house has a hardcoded timeout, will have to fix that with the potato servers they run eq on, housing/parcels is sensitive to any kind of lag.

Reward.mac seems broken. run /macro reward tbl and it just scans and list them but doesn't do any claiming.

The issue with the TBL function is that the code is missing "Empry: " before "Realms of Ash" in the reward-collection.ini file. I fixed it manually and it works fine now.
 
I know I saw a fix somewhere but now I can't find it. How do I get the /mac shiny gather feature to slow down? It scans the items so fast in the bazaar that none of them pop up as available except the last one.
 
I think I was editing the wrong file. I'm in the collections file under macros now. I changed the delay under scanbazaar from 5 to 5s.
When the new compile is finished I'll try it out.

There is something wrong with the "ways to keep your face warm" achievement from Kael Drakkal. I had to manually collect them and then rerun the macro. Also, the 9 RoF special collectibles will f---- up your run everytime. I have to open the file each time i wanna do RoF and delete them out of it and replace it with the collected text.

I do the same thing. Delete the RoF special collects. I'll manually try and get the Kael ones and see if it works.

Well, It's not the Kael ccollections as I have them all done. When I use /mac reward CoV it spent 60 plus collection clickys. Matter of fact, only the RoF reward is not working. hmm. not sure why
 
Sorry for the confusion. I meant that I had all the Kael collections done in RoF. Then I attempted to run collections in other expansions and that all worked
 
Great macro, especially the /mac shiny get click option. One tip anyone using this, do not use /mac shiny gather on more than 1 at a time (file write contention issues). I saw some errors writing to the ini when running on multiple. Also make sure target is clear (or pointed to that character). It seems every toon shares the same configuration file.

Another observation is /mac reward xxx won't run if you have less fragments than # of clickies needed to do the whole thing. It does this weird searching thing (like it is looking through bags instead of clicking the Overseer Item Collection Dispenser. Although it would be great if you could limit how many at a time it does (example 40).

How Do I uninstall this? I'm getting an error and can't get it to work. Also, I don't know how to take a screenshot and post it. I figure it might be easier to delete it completely then reinstall it.

it is two macros - shiny.mac and reward.mac

if you want to delete them (for some reason) you would delete those two files.

keep in mind, that a macro is only executed if you call for it to run /mac shiny
 
Great macro, makes my life so much easier. I did identify an issue though while trying to /mac put <xpac> items into my house. I believe that my issue was due to the fact that this account is a paid account with the Merchant Perks, which grants 2 additional bag slots. The macro would error out with 'Fill up your toplevel slots with bags ! Could be something you have equipped' error. Removing bags containing items for the <xpac> that I'm trying to deposit from the two bottom bag slots works to get around the issue.

I'm looking for a utility that claims overseer collection items dispensers for missing items. It sounds like this does that. Can you filter it down to which category or is it just expansions? For example I'd rather it not claim ground spawns my rog can just run around collecting.

/mac shiny gather with the expansion collectible achievement window up for the toon you want
/mac reward <expac shorthand rof, cotf, tds, eok, ros, etc.>

ROF has a couple wrinkles
1. there is a 'Rain of Fear' Zone in the 'Rain of Fear' Expansion, so macro thinks it already has the zone collectible but doesn't
2. Kael Drakkel no longer has the 2 spaces problem, so that 'fix' can be reverted back

I am getting something similar with CoV and Im wondering if it is related

I do /mac shiny gather cov and it seems to run fine then I run /mac reward cov and as you can see in the image it says going to need 0/0 expac / 58 dispenser.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

There's something wrong in the INI file with how the stuff is set up. If you mod the ini file you can make it work but I havent had to look it up in a while to remember what's wrong. I just manually do all the KD stuff cause Im always in a hurry rofl

What do you do with this? From what I can tell the program cant even redeem TOL collectibles as its not an option in the code and isn't in the library of collectibles yet. Asking for a friend..
