how can they scan a customers pc w/o breaking a law of some sort? and why would they ban you for uninstalling eq heh? Didn't they get in trouble in the early years for scanning customers pc's in some fashion.

Not only are they banning for uninstalling EQ, they're also putting in code to block GINA. Additionally, they're subtracting 2 days from everyone's access time. On top of all that, the EULA is being updated with you agreeing that if you make a snide comment in the EverQuest forums or on PornHub, Columbus Nova reserves the right to force you to fly on United Airlines (a one way ticket, of course).
