All servers will come down at 4:00 AM PT (Noon GMT) for the Empires of Kunark expansion launch. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 8 hours. We'll see you in Kunark!

Weird second time choice that they decided to choose for noon. I thought GMT was referring to rocky mountain time and was utterly confused for awhile until google helped me out

I think the fact that they're doing updates every day for beta server makes the live update for the expansion release a bit easier to handle. As always, there's no guarantees, but if I recall correctly that was a big perk of doing regular beta updates.
