Question - Seeking Advice for Efficient Leveling with a Full Group: From 85 to 120

Just returned after a 10-year hiatus and used my level 80 Shadow Knight to power level my group (Shadow Knight, Shaman, Bard, Mage, and 2 Berserkers - all with gold accounts) to level 75 in about 4-5 hours of playtime. Now at level 85, I've been doing Gribbles, House of Thule, The Grounds, and leveling feels slow. The information in the Grinding/Farming Guide is helpful but doesn't seem to align with a full group. My group is decently equipped with Thule drops, Gribbles gear, and items from the Bazaar. What zones should I camp or which missions should I do to reach level 120 as quickly as possible? Any advice would be appreciated.

Keep going through the XPacs and zones.

Grounds to 90
Valle of Lunyanen or whatever to 95
Sarith to 98ish
Katta, Lceanium, FM, etc to 105ish?
Korsha Labs 105+
ToV zones from 110-113.5 and then do the Paragon ToV stuff. Ding 115.
Grind is also your friend at 95+.
Just play around, explore, and enjoy your time. Soon you will be bored out of your mind if you plan on doing NoS stuff and from what I am hearing, lots of people have already given up on that grind stuff.

Remember to keep up with gear, augs, AA, etc.

My advice is to pace yourself.

You are not going to get to 120 over night, or even in 2-3 weeks. Everything is going to come down to your groups DPS, mob density, and how fast you can cycle missions.

As you have no doubt noticed the XP required to level vs the XP gained from grinding mobs starts to break down in the 80's. Each level is approximately 10% "bigger" than the level before it, while the XP per mob stays the same. Once you hit 110-115 its super slow even when have a super high DPS group.

The best source of XP at high level is doing overseer quests. Once you have it maxed out you can gain 5-10% a day for just logging in. Start doing them now.

Work on your boxing tools. You should be able to:
- Tell your group to attack
- Tell your group to stop attacking
- Tell your group to follow you
- Tell your group to double invis

You want to use something like `boxhud` or the netbots UI to see what you characters are doing at all times.

After that it's mainly just picking spots and grinding content. IF you like doing quests then go through each of the expansions. If you prefer mindless grinding go to each of the expansions starting zones and see how difficult they are for you.

When grinding you generally want to find the lowest level blue con you can kill quickly. There are some exceptions where its better to go with white / yellow cons. Use your XP tracker to measure your XP per hour to see what works best for you.

Good luck! Take it easy and don't just rush to the finish line. A level 120 with no AA's is going to struggle. Especially as a tank.

You're not doing anything wrong in your approach to hitting 120. In fact you're doing what I'd do myself. Keep the gribbles flowing, move into shards landing when you can (you can stay in grounds/Fear itself until the 92-95 range) and follow that with maybe the Plane of shadow/eventil or dead hills grinding between missions until you hit 106 and can get conflagrant going. FM can take you straight to 111 if you want to before jumping into ToV.

Hardest thing will be making sure your gear is up to snuff, and the augs on your tank are good enough to keep him moving up in tiers of difficulty.

I just did 111-115 in ToV with CoV grp geared tank and everyone else was mix of snowbound visibles with RoF non vis and CoV attunable weapons in a couple days, maxing AAs as I went each level.

You can also play around in the broken mirror xpac if your gear is strong enough on your tank. A lot of those missions scale to the level of the highest person in the group and the gear that drops can be auged every 5 levels to increase its power. That xpac can carry you to 105 pretty easily then you can transition to Empires of Kunark til 110 then Torment of Velious 110 - 115 and finishing with ToL to push 115 to 120. There are lots of ways to make that jump though, I get bored so I tend to play around in a bunch of different places and explore.

95-105 - Gribbles missions in Deadhills
105-113 - GMM instance flipping (MQ2grind)
Get all 4 ToV missions for push through 113-115
114-115 - Great Divide instance flipping (MQ2grind)

This path has worked great for my F2P toons. Don't have anything for 116-120 since they cap out at 115.

Meh...i'd say find a bored 115 bot somewhere that's grinding farming and just ask him to tag you tank/enc/cleric into group. I don't know about others but you can usually see 115 bots plowing through the grounds farming gems/bags solo. I know i do here and there for some coin. Send em a tell and say hey any chance you can adds. I don't usually mind, i'm not there for exp anyways. You can get to 100 in an hour or two

The quickest way is to buy a PL or politely request a guildie or buddy who uses MQ to toss some grinding xp.

I started playing back in '18 and eventually found myself running a full group by ~70. Let me tell ya, 70 - 110 (at that time, max lvl) was a grind. Just take your time and enjoy the grind; it took me months to hit max level and I learned the KA ini files pretty well having to keep those updated and optimized for my playing.

I enjoyed TBM and new gear augs every 5 levels. There are so many options... if you have MQ2Grind... you can also do Droga 95-105 before going to GMM. Really getting to 120 fast as possible? That's simple, buy a PL. Otherwise do not get in a hurry, and enjoy the journey.

Miley said it best...
