Rizlona Rizlona Boxing Guild

It really doesn't get more clear than this.

Will MQ2 be allowed on Aradune: Answer: No

Will MQ2 be allowed on Rizlona: Answer: As long as you are not Afk or using unintended gameplay (like Warp).

Some might say the answers were vague, however, if MQ2 was not allowed to be used on Rizlona, the answer would have been the same as the response for Aradune.

In my mind the safest things to do are:
1. Don't be a jerk while running mq2
2. Don't prevent other people from experiencing content (in line with 1)
3. Don't play AFK (because you can't abide by 1 and 2)
4. Don't use hax.

While there's no guarantee you won't get a ban or a suspension, all that definitely lowers your risk.

EQMule works with DPGs to block MQ2 from TLPS. MQ2 will be blocked from Aradune, but unlocked Rizlona? If they didn't want MQ2 available on Rizlona, why not just tell EQMule to keep it locked?

You could apply that logic to any server that is not a TrueBox server. I've given my personal feelings, I can't speak for anyone else.

I get where you are coming from.

The reality is that there are people within DPGs that support MQ2 and there are those against it. From what has be publicly stated, MQ2 will be fine on Rizlona if you are not AFK automating or using active hacks. However, I wouldn't put it in people's faces either.

For those that have not read the public comments from Deamweaver:

Skillz: Just go play on Rizlona and use MQ2.
Dreamweaver: As long as you aren't automating.
Dreamweaver: Or using the portions of that software cause unintended gameplay.
Rubix: Automating? You mean AFK playing?
Lazerstick: What part of MQ2 isn't considered unintended??
Dreamweaver: If there is a part that allows you to box. That is fine. Or assists with boxing.
Lazerstick: Assist? I'm confused
Dreamweaver: Automation is the issue.
Rubix: Please define automation...
Rubix: Or list specific example...
Dreamweaver: For Rizlona we are talking about AFK playing being against the rules, and things that are unintended gameplay like warping.

On the official EQ forums, Dreamweaver has specifically defined Automation as playing AFK and unintended game play as active hacks such as Warping.

When asked if MQ2 was ok for Aradune, Dreamweaver stated it was not allowed.

This pretty much explains why GMs simply do AFK checks and leave with no action if a response is given.

You can say this is vague, but it's not that vague.

The issue here is MQ2 abuse. How many people using MQ2 will AFK automate? Probably a high number of users. This inevitably brings a backlash on the MQ2 community.

This can lead to changes in what's currently accepted.

It's not that I don't understand your interpretation. I get where you're coming from, it's just not any different than how Live servers are now. A lot of wink/wink/nudge/nudge/say no more...until someone crosses the invisible line and catches a ban.

It is intentionally vague likely because they want to allow their CS reps to be able to back their own decisions without a drawn out fight. The definitive statements are not about what is allowed and unintended/unattended/automated are all open to interpretation from the person doing the interpreting. Even in the above, he mentions automation as the issue (though as you said, there is a weird view that "automation" means "unattended automation"). It still leaves a lot of wiggle room.

My point is that this isn't new, it's the tenuous relationship we have on Live and I'll treat it as such. What others choose to do based on their own perception and feelings is up to them, but I will personally take the "cautiously optimistic" approach until there is something definitive.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great step, I just don't want people to overstep and lose an account they care about.

""To play on Rizlona server when they launch, all you'll need is an All Access Membership "" Would the company ever take away one's all access account if banned on Rizlona? That would take away the 115's we have on other servers if so. I dont intend on getting banned, but would it be a good idea to start six fresh new all access accounts on a monthly payment rather than use our existing accounts? Could they ever ban all IP address accounts if they really got mad?

This was never actually stated. The vague answers leave quite a lot of wiggle room, so I personally would not advertise usage and expect not to get banned.

I think the administrators are well aware a huge portion of the playerbase (including myself) would outright quit if they banned players who were 'responsibly' using MQ2. Meaning, not going AFK with macros running or warping. Rizlona is basically Ragefire 2.0, and DBG isn't naive regarding the topic. They know this ruleset is a huge pull for boxers.

Personally, I'm not worried about having action taken against my accounts for using MQ2, because I neither RMT or go afk with MQ2 running. To each their own.

What I said and what you said match up fairly well, and I agree. I'm just saying that Rizlona isn't a new stance on MQ2 and I suggested not treating it any different than you would on Live. (Versus treating those vague statements as open license with no repercussions).

So the best way to get 6 clean accounts up and running would be? I am asking for the best way to do it.
The other question we have is what the best way to get our low level toons up and running with MQ2?
Cuttently have six level 115 maxed toons all running on augmented INI's except for the Zerker purchase.
Thanks for any advice/help in advance.

Many of the advanced macros like Kiss Assist are a little overkill for leveling toons from 1-50 (not afk - just assisting a main ton that is your primary control character).

I think the IHC group has done a lot of some work trying to get everything setup for low levels.

I've done my share of low level testing with some of the classes. I hesitate to say kinks are worked out across the board but I think Morisato and the rest of the dev team has done a good job making sure at least some lines are available all the way back. I think the big challenge is going to be effectiveness given that you end up having 2 or 3 different games before 85. That's going to be my going concern.

kiss works fine, and as far as afk killing, you guys crack me up, once you cheat you cheat, there is no moral high ground, afk exping will always happen , few will warp and get caught or not but to say you are against cheating when you in essence are cheating yourself is just bullshit lol, the reason most get banned isnt because they were afk as much as they were afk on named mobs and others wanted it, or quest items or whatever, if you are cheating and report somone else for cheating esp if they are off someplace remote and not bothering others well i hope you get a big dose of Karma. good luck and have fun and dont be a ass:)

@argee37
Discord link you sent me a while back expired. Mind sending me a PM with guild name and new link. Got some characters finally after the launch fiasco yesterday

I applied today with my wife. We are only small timers , but I thought it would be fun to play with some of ya'll in the community since we were planning on playing on Rizlona anyway.

that was for afk leveling or just for boxing and running MQ2?

grabbed coffee left em running and got popped, however i also afk so im not innocent
ouch. but yeah - you knew the risk and take the hit like a boss :-)

By the way: The "afk"-check some try to get around with some super-general-auto-responses ... they happen to try to really have a chat with you at times ... so a ".)" or "hi! how ae you?" may not suffice.

Sucks you got a suspension. I havn't AFK once and no issues so far. People have been pretty open about it too it seems across the server.
