this kind of text seems to be being spammed on debug window (i have no clue if thats the correct term) i put the lua on Watch in this page and downloaded it from RG launcher lua section. I started the lua with command /lua run RGmercs

first time running lua programs so im kinda clueless.
Okay what class is your toon? Can you turn up the debug level? looks like they are at least targeting so I find it odd that you say they arent doing anything. What is your expectation of what should be happening?

oh the Characters are Cleric and Shaman. maby it came out wrong, but they are doing healing and debuffing really well, just that they are not casting any buffs.
 
Looking for a way to turn stick off. not sure where that could be buried in setting.

EDIT: nvm, set custom /stick to "off"

But, I'm very impressed with this. Thx for all the effort
 
probably dumb question by me..i'm testing this on new toons. when pulling, the only options i have under "pull ability" are "auto attack" and "face pull". is there a way to pull with a certain spell or with pets? thanks.
 
That sounds right as it doesn't use melody it will manually recast songs as they wear off.
Check duration of the spell in screenshot 5m18s (for the AA) and 12s for the song
The toon will have the buff remaining 4+ or 5+ mins and it will recasts the AA every 5 to 20s

Issue with this is it will delay the next song it is supposed to cast to use the AA.
The way RGMeRCS is doing 'melody' is slower than standard /melody so you cant have the 7+ songs going like you could with default eq /melody


Bard instant cast abilities ideally are used while something else is singing
The danger is chance of locking spell bar, so if you do go for that you need to make sure castbar is between 40-60% when using instant cast on bard
 
I am loving your new Lua version, great job!
I am running into an issue where when trying to pull in a zone I get "You do not have a valid WP ID(1) for this zone(<zone name>) - Aborting!
Yet other nav commands seem to work fine in the zone. I have all the mesh layers and such I thought, what could be causing this?

Are you set to Farm mode pulling? Farm requires waypoints.
 
Hey loving this so far you did a fantastic job.

One question I have is when using with my warrior I have him in chase mode as he is grouped with a higher level SK set as MA/MT. Every time my warrior dies and is rezed the chase toggles off. Anyway to fix this?

Chase turns off when you die by design but I will add a toggle option
 
Congrats on a great project. i like it.

I've been comparing my wizard DPS with AFNuke. Something's off. Rgmercs is casting Claw way too much, and large nukes not enough. I also noted too much time elapses between Global cooldown and the next cast. My DPS is about half of what AFNuke is.

I'm using a Fire loadout. I'm noting other things, but won't post everything at once. Again, thank you for this. the effort shows
 
Pulling with my warr, getting 2, the one I pulled took longer to get to camp so the other one that came first beat up the warr who stayed on the pulled mob waiting for it to get to camp.
 
Is your group ma set?

Is it getting a target in the RGMercs window? I am running a bard and it is definitely attacking for me. What does the class UI say etc?
I resolved this I think. Restarting Lua helped. not sure if it got caught in a loop.
 
seems to still be breaking chase on death even with the toggle selected.

It's only happening on my warrior. Had my zerk die and he kept chasing.

You are correct. This was being handled in 2 places. I fixed the second place and pushed it. Should be on the launcher in the next 30 or so mins. Also stop dying. :D
haha thanks. He's still in level 5 defiant gear following the group in EOK content. I'm being cheap and waiting to gear him at 110.
 
Finally have had time to try this. Upon running, I get this. I could have sworn that I saw something about this in another thread, but I cannot find it.

Got it to work.

Can I suggest, for Bards to have in the meditate option to have them sit and not use songs? Reasoning is that if using a Bard to pull, and using GroupWatch setting, the bard will never rest for Mana, and pulling will be very slow as you slowly wait for his Mana to tick upwards without resting. Just a thought...

Or, maybe add an option in GroupWatch to watch healers except self or Group except self.
 
I saw:

- Necro only rezes out of combat
and was wondering what may be the reason.

When I go to farm luck augs, I have no cleric in my team but a nec.
As the ooc-timer is 5 minutes in the raid-zones where you go to hunt the luck-augs, i deem the intstant-rezz of the necro as a huge benefit.
If there is a reason one might not like the necro to battlerezz, would it be possible to create a field within the configuratoin to allow to switch on the battlerezz if one would like the necro to do so?
Shaman cannot battlerezz without the rezz-stick, but call to corpse in battle. So it would be nice to have this in config as well to activate it, should no battle-rezz-class be around.

We can look at the bars options.

How did you fix the error? What was the issue?
