Sorry to hear some of you got suspended. Whatever can be encrypted can be decrypted.

Several folks have all ready hacked the new encryption and several folks that left the EQ Hacking community have come back just because of the extra encryption challange.

The worst thing any game company can do is go to war with the hacking community. That is what Valve and Counter-Strike attempted with all their many many failed hack prevetions and all it did was invite folks to come hack them. In the end their were so many cheats that it destoryed the game. It becomes more fun to break the hack/cheat prevention then to actually play the game.
 
well account released and then banned cause i warped 2 times before warp warning was put out. and just incase any of you are thinking maybe just maybe i can convince them to give me my account back after being banned. they arent having any of it now so i would just let it sit for a bit then try back later or something of the sorts.

So as not to reveal to SOE any counter measures the hacking community is taking. if you are using the "spoofing" packet warp you will be busted pretty dam quick even if you use it one time.

(In piggyzone usenpc is sending packets to tell the teleporter where to port you... so again.. most likely you will be busted for using piggyzone right now)

Rwarp does not send packets to the server so if you are just doing straight zone warping using Rwarp you should be at no more risk then you were prior to this patch. (but we are not positive) It could be they are running a distance traveled vs time log parser on SOE end) If someone has a spare account and they want to test RWARP and report to us it would be great.

It would also be nice if the folks that got busted warping told us what version or plugin they were using to warp with before they were banned.

Most active hacks you are using at present are sending unencrypted packets back to the soe server. So any active hack can be spotted and seen by SOE very easily. ie opening doors, containers GKing "spoof packet warping" etc. SO DONT USE THEM. Or you might as well stand in POK Shouting I HACK PLEASE BAN ME

Actually thats all i did was Rwarp, never did anything on that acc i used it with the redguides compile. My once monk is level 40 and i used Rwarp and he got flicked, i called and they said theres not a reason why or anything, so we will see. MY last monk that had this happen, i got EVERYTHING on him no rollback nothing. There's just that little trick you gotta add when you call phone support, to tell them to make a not on your Acc that you use Certain programs for college that are for programming " i use Program A. B . C. D think this could be the cause " I would un-install those or use eq with a fresh Boot " then i get a E-mail from the gm sayngi blah blah blah taking precautuons this and that and im good. Seems to work ,so far its worked twice , other then the 1 time an acc got caught red handed
 
ok i dont want my account back but just wanted to see what they say they caught me doing to first time offense perma ban me, so i call them wait about 15 min to talk to someone, so i say my account is banned and i have no clue why, he says let me take a look 1 sec please.
5 minutes later ok i cant tell you why your banned right now as to there is no reason in our system, ive checked around with other staff and we dont know why its banned right now.
i say great give me my account back, he says sorry we can not do that at this time because you must have been banned for some reason and once i find out i will email the reason to you. so now im mad and tell him to fuck off and quit trying to bull shit me and go look for a reason for banning me with no cause, i tell him its pretty messed up that you guys give all these noobs the power to ban people for no reason.
he ends the convo saying im very sorry but we are going threw alot of stuff down here and everything is a mess and i will try to get your accout back if you didnt do nothing wrong as you said, bah lol look into my account and you will find more bad then good haha but anyway i figure bye bye account oh well but today i log onto another account and check my banned one and wam not banned no more
 
Well i got smacked with a roll back... Funny thing is before i logged off last night i died like 15 times. Which ticked me off, and i logged w/o getting corpses... when i logged on today i was at 65. Which was about a 10 - 15 day roll back on me. But out of curiousty i summoned my corpses, and all 15 were still there, and had my armor on 1 of them! So I'm a happy little bard atm. And was able to rezz them for some exp gain, which got me 50% thru 66... So just 9 more levels till i'm back on top

Any how, all i did was use Rwarp. Nothing else. No one in zone either when i was doin it. Going to check my other 3 accounts now.
 
Logged on ny 42 monk today, he was rolled back for third party programs they said.Guess it was on 4/16 when i was playin around in hot zone. I figured post it.He is now 23 LOL. Took my Aon damn soe. :rolleyes: (Zek server)Error Gm just came in game and delivered a ten day suspension on one of my zek account.Said Didnt understand how i was still playin LOL.Also told me evidence was in the hot zone like i said.

My 75 monk in the rathe got banned just before the patch on the 19th. My other monk was rolled back 2 months ( i lost ashengate and FC raid gear and a about 700 aa) and told the gm online to eat shit. When i came back from LD there was no more monk on my account. Are GM's aloud to delete toons? I fond it hillarious and knew I had it coming as I was hacking my heart out for the last 4 months.
 
Just gotten banned...not sure what was the reason...did not even logged on the accounts for more than a month...well, if it remains banned...goodbye EQ

Just did some location warps (never warped anywhere there are a lot of peeps) and ran some macros as I box on nest instanced for xp'ing....the accounts are open as we speak...
 
ok i get my account back for 2 days or what ever it was since i said i got it back try logging on now banned again, have not even loaded mq up since they gave me account back so heres the email i got.

cool with me fuck eq, good luck to the rest of you, i would be really carefull and listen to the warnings posted here had my account since eq started few warps and a first time offense is all it takes they aint takeing our shit no more, so happy i preordered 2 copyies of that new expansion pack with all 13 expansions now i got something to destroy. everquest without mq is gay as fuck the game sucks to much to waste your life trying to lvl shit ass toons the legit way. well good luck to the rest of you real life here i come.
 
My char got rolled back 4 days ago.

When I asked about it, and why. I was told for hacking in e-mail. THen I continued to ask doing what, when ect.....No answer for four days. Then I posted another responce to it. Not realy nasty, but just enought to catch somones attention. 1.5hrs later, in the middle of a raid. I get booted and suspended from game.

Well I guess I got their attention :).

So next step was to call. What a fucking waste of human life over there. 15mins or ranting and raving...gets you know where...they wont even let you talk to a mgr or other suport people. They dont give 2 shits. Finaly all I get is an E-mail address to send to.

BTW this was my First offence, suspention/roll back. and no one even talks to you.

A little advise for you people trying to get out of your suspensions. Let dead dogs lay. You may have only gotten a suspension because the person handling your corrective action that day just got laid, got a raise and/or he found out the growth on his testicular sack wasn't cancerous. When you contact Sony with your :confused: :confused: :confused: shit you may just get the 40 year old gal whose husband just left her for the 20 year old babysitter. She might just say ??suspension?? my ass BOOYA your banned.

It won't get you out of your suspensions I agree, but it stopped one of my accounts from getting banned.
 
Suspended on prexus for use of third party program no more information was givin. I did it all in instance zones on 1 account and only used map on other account. Both got 10 days suspend as of 4/19
 
check out account status today says closed so im like ok ..that better then suspended ( when it was ) .... ok so i pay the 15$ and get account back so do that and log on .. ok eveything all great get on the monk first and omfg! he has gota be rolled back like 1 month seriously lol lost all my AA gear full suit of coa and augs 2.0 all that crap blah o well thats all stuff i can get back in a week but it really crapy feeling to know that the terrorist won off me ( sony ) .. well thought i shared the info on how hard they hit me 10 days and like 30 day roll back =/ other toons still have gear that monk won for them. that are on same account though so thats good i guess.

2 of 3 - Had my account + Friends account Suspended on Prexus i did plugins on two accounts I tested warp gate and succor and monk bug on 2 different accounts and on the 3rd account I did warp but didn't do plugins I might have just gotten lucky on the 3rd account did 1 warp, prior to warnings 3rd account active everyday havent loaded MQ on that account sense I don't believe
 
your toon prob wont be rolled back until they lift the suspension.

and I would say its about certain you will lose anything you got within the last 20 days :(
 
I got suspended and just waited it out. I never got an email as to why or anything. I just waited my time, checking online to see if my account was "active" again.

I suggest doing the same. You won't die going a few days, even a week or two without playing EQ.

I highly doubt they will forget about you.
 
Quick question for any legal people out there....

Can SoE still charge money for a suspended account? All together, I'd estimate I've spent about 2 months total in suspension with 1 toon or another. Every time I think about it, I wanna tell sony, next expansion better be free, dangit...

Then I wake up.

Not a lawyer, and we can debate the legality of "click wrap" software forever - and get probably as many different answers as there are people participating in the debate. However... Clause 6 of the EULA very clearly states that they will not give any refunds for suspension or banning.
 
Anyone will tell you that the contract is only as good as the lawyer that sues it. I talked to my DA friend and there are holes, but he also stated that the costs would be huge to fight it.
 
If you never want you accounts back, call your CC and have them stop any future payments to them. This is as big as a f you as you can do, so you likely will be lifetime banned, but if you don't want them charging you next rollover, you can do that.
 
I called cause of a ban on the night of 4/19 or early 4/20 the Customer Service that I waited for them to answer for almost an hour said all the accounts due to be released on the 10th day which somehow winds up in there system as 4/30 as day 10 but they are released at Midnight Pacific Time - I didn't dare start asking if it was manual release or automatic I accepted the information and ran - hope this helps

Yeah, they didn't release my monk alt until this morning. Luckily I always killed him in shadowrest and had his corpse consumed before logging, so I just now logged on with x2 gear after taking a trip to Shadowrest =p.
 
Unless you personally know a dev/GM, your chances of that happening is extremely small. If I were you, I wouldn't take the risk of even trying because all it'll do is bring more attention to yourself and possibly lead to being banned as you said.

That right there is all they would need to deny you. It's against their EULA to give your account info to anyone, besides like one family member or some other horseshit they came up with.

Maybe you can tell them your dumb ass son did it and that you have effectively terminated his ability to use the home computer so that it never happens again. I dunno...it might work...but I doubt it.
