I've thought about buying remnants, but they're so quick to farm, especially as you gear up toons. One run will net you (assuming you're running six lvl 105 toons) over 6000, typically. That's enough for two fully augged visibles plus extra, or a 4 (nearly 5) non-vis items. My tank is almost fully geared (he's also wearing some TDS and CoTF rares), and I've moved onto gearing other toons.

Into the Temple (b) can be mostly single pulled (at least enough to get you the win... if you want to clear it for augs there will be some doubles/triples if you don't have splitting capabilities).
 
A quick way to get remnants is the mission "We Make Our Own Rewards" in life. It is a quick kill\loot mission which gives 1125 remnants per run. So with six toons that's an easy 6750 per run. Don't think it could be completely automated as the tasks get shuffled each time still good payout.

I'd recommend decay or crypt over life. No loot requirement means you can stock up on parts for quicker missions in the future :)
 
So on Fellowships. I have 6x 105's capped, I add 6x 60's to the fellowship, have everyone toggled ON for sharing. The 105's show capped, the 60's show sharing. I've been killing with the 105's for 2-3 hours, and the 60's have no vitality yet. The 60's are in POK, the 105's are killing in TDS. Is there a mega delay for vitality to show up or do I need to log in/out?

You cant share with someone that cant get xp with you. I.E 30 levels from your highest level so to get vitality the 60s need to be 75.
 
Has anyone noticed anything weird with fellowship exp recently? I have some toons that are able to max both regular and aa bar, but some only fill on the aa bar and I can't even get past 1 bubble of regular vitality and yet it will say capped. I know friends with silver accounts that seem to be having their vitality wiped every time they log as well. All of my accounts are gold though, so I was wondering if anyone else had an idea's or insight since this seems to be the thread that is all things vitality. Thanks!
 
spend some of it and it will reset and fix itself....
 
Its broke they know about it and it will be fixed when they patch.

#1. You don't earn it offline right now because its not saving right.
#2 if you zone or log you lose it all.

11% a kill isn't terrible, especially if you're killing very quickly and have plenty of mobs to keep your team moving. The dino island experience is great, but they're yellow mobs and don't die nearly as quickly as dark blues elsewhere (even elsewhere in TDS). I found recently, now that my AA totals are starting to rise to a respectable number, that the 1 AA per kill inside the dino instance is now more like 33% to 40% a kill. Much slower than when I started. The fact that you need to restart the instance every 5.5 hours is less than ideal, especially if you're not alone in a house/apartment. Frankly, my girlfriend already barely tolerates my EQ playing, so if I woke my ass up in the middle of the night to restart the instance she'd probably kill me.

I'm going to start dabbling in other areas. What I don't like about the last three expansions is there have been relatively few open zones, and the open zones that ARE there are still well-traveled. I can zone into dead hills and see no less than 3-4 afk groups plugging away at any given time. If I pop into EK there is usually one at the spot described on this site. And it just varies from there.

I'm thinking about retrying my afk'ing in some early TDS zones now that I'm more familiar with setting up the pulling functions in Kiss and the use of Advpath and Nav. This will be after I setup isboxer this weekend... I need a way to load more than six instances on my machine so that I can run a couple sets of groups at once.

Just a note in regards to fellowship XP that I have not necessarily seen explicitly mentioned, having capped exp + max banked AA does not qualify a toon as being "capped" for fellowship xp sharing. At least it did not display "capped" in the window for any toons with those characteristics.

It did for me. Any idea what you're doing differently?
 
Hm, these chars are Gold accounts, max exp @ 105, with 210 banked AA, but still had AA abilities available that could be purchased. I did not see a display of "Capped" in the fellowship window, should it be showing there in the window @Sum1 ? It's possible that I just did not notice, or needed to relog or something.

Edit: They are also only purchased up to TDS expansion

Edit: I think I was looking for something to say Capped in the fellowship window when I should have been looking in the chat log. Working on maxing banked AA again to check this.

Edit 4: Hm weird the fellowship window updated this time, but the top 2 Sharing toons should be showing as capped as well..

I set the Capped toon to 0% AA exp to try to build normal exp vitailty. There is no longer a "point cap" message in the logs anymore, but the fellowship window said capped still. I could not ever get those other two to switch from Sharing to Cap. Not sure what's going on there...tried a few things like leaving and rejoining fellowship, they are both at 100% into 105

Hopefully the final Edit 5: Looks like the wizards were just not quite capped on exp yet. All 3 toons are showing as capped now! So 100% does not mean capped! Keep going till the fellowship window updates

A quick question on Capped Fellowship exp. I have two Gold account toons that are max reg xp and max aaxp up to ROS with max banked AA's. These two toons used to say capped in the Fellowship window and did share their xp with anyother toon that I had set to share. Since the launch of TBL, I don't think they have said "Capped" but I am not 100% sure about that. I have not bought TBL for these two toons as of yet, but the AA's that are available for that expansion show up in my AA selection window. But, I cannot purchase any of them as I have not bought the expansion yet. I guess my question is, are these two toons still "Capped" as now they both say "Sharing". I am leveling up a couple of silver account groups and was wanting to use these two maxxed toons to boost the silver's xp a little. Any thoughts?

If you don’t have the expansion they should still be capped. I’ve found that sometimes I need to toggle fellowship sharing off and back on again, and then go exp for 30 minutes or so to force it back to “capped.”
 
As a followup to Anon456's post...

I just came back during TBL and I have a SK with max AA, max XP, 220 Banked, etc.... he doesn't say "Capped" in the fellowship window and I'm pretty confused by this.

I'm trying to level a group of 6 with a single "max" 110 SK....so I have 1 char out of group the entire time. The OOG character keeps getting minimal "AA Vitality", and my 110 SK does not say "Capped" in fellowship window.

All characters are in same Fellowship (7 total) and set to Sharing.

What am I doing wrong?
 
Yeah... I have no clue as to what may have changed, but a couple of days after I posted this, the gold account maxxed toons started showing capped and are now sharing their xp with my silver accounts. Nothing changed on my end, the accounts were always maxxed out xp and aaxp with maxed banked, although one of them is now showing 330 banked as's. How is that possible?

AA refunds, most likely.

i was up over 350 after doing TBL progression. since they no longer give you AAs as rewards the granted AAs can go over the cap

If you kill a few mobs with the group minus the SK with them turned to sharing it will put him to cap. They won't cap unless fellowship exp is sent their way usually.
 
So if the toons doing the power leveling at NOT maxed out this doesnt do any good? Ive never done anything with fellowships before other than helping to move my group around.

it was relating to a task you could do in lichen's creep were you could take a group of toons from lvl 1 to lvl 58 but it was fixed long ago.

your low toons just sat at zone in while your tank ran around killing a few particular mobs. about 20 in total each run. the low level toons got xp for completing the task but Not for the kills.
 
Yea, I was sad panda this was nerfed ... i never got to mess with it.
 
Lichen Creep was awesome. We leveled up some returning guildies who didn't want to transfer characters from another server. These were people who quit after the last merge. Anyway, I miss those missions :)
