Problem - Puller role not seeing mobs within Radius/Zrange

Yes, it happens everytime i try to set a puller
Ran into a new problem that i have never seen and hopefully someone can help me. I did some searching on the forums to see if anyone else listed this problem but could not find exactly what i am seeing. Group is set up in the area i want to camp, war is set to tank, casters and rog are set to return to camp, everyone's KA starts up and no issues. Everything is working fine. So i set my monk to puller role, set his radius and zrange, set the lvl limits to pull, run the macro and on the map the range of his pull and the range of his distant strike all show up correctly, like they always do. He pulls the mobs close to the camp and then when looking for his next target it says no mobs in range. On the map there is plenty of mobs in his maxradius, so i re check macro that lvl pull limit is correct, which it was, and restart the macro.

Same thing, waiting for mobs to spawn. So i increase the pull radius to 2000, still waiting for mobs to spawn. i increase zrange to 500 thinking that was the problem, still waiting for mobs to spawn. I then turn him back to assist role and change my tank to PullerTank, same thing, waiting for mobs to spawn when there are plenty of mobs within their maxradius. So at this time i go and generate and new mesh for the zone, and /nav reload, everything load correctly.

So next i look at Kissassist_info to make sure the mobs near me did not get added to ignore, they weren't. The entry for the zone i am in has nothing for ignore, immune to mez, or to pull. Just in case i delete the whole entry, save, and then restart the monk's macro as puller role. Same thing, waiting for mobs to respawn

At this time i am getting repops, and the monk ran off a little bit to distant strike a mob and pull it back, so i thought ok it is working now. Nope, as soon as that mob was died it said waiting for mobs to spawn. So it is working but the range or the ability to see mobs is messing up. So i just waited a bit and watched it.

From what i can tell, the monk is only pulling mobs if they spawn or roam into his distant strike range, the inner green circle on the map. So i moved him away from camp and restart the macro to see if he would then pull the mob that i placed within his distant strike range and he would not pull it. Says waiting for mobs to spawn.

So the only thing i can tell is the monk will only pull mobs within this little valley, as if the zone it's self is preventing KA from pulling outside it, b/c the monk will pull within this valley area i have my group setup in. It is not a huge problem b/c i am after the named that spawns here, but wanted to post about it in case someone else has the same issue. Also i just used the monk to pull in The Jewel of Anitik for 5-6 hours camping another name and he was pulling with 900 radius with no problems. Thanks for reading.

Yes, when it finds a mob in the area it runs to it with no issues, also leading the group to this area from entrance had no problems, the all follow my tank perfectly using the follow me button. Not sure what the mesh is supposed to look like, but it looks normal after looking at a couple other maps.
 
I have to relocate my camp spot more often than I would like due to this problem. Here are just 2 examples:

CC queen camp. Kiss will not pull if you camp on the little island where she spawns. I tried pretty much everything you mentioned. I just don't camp here. Nothing works. If you camp in the tunnel kiss will ignore the island where she spawns.

TOFS Floor 4 I think. The place where you drop down. I tried camping at the drop down point on the east side of that little basement area. Waiting for mobs forever. If I move my party out of the safe tunnel area and camp by the mirror out it pulls just fine.
 
Yes the valley is pretty much all covered. I moved my group to a different area for testing and in this zone, it seems you can not pull from area to area. when i moved north same thing happen, KA pulled all the mobs in that new area and ignore anything else. Also Follow me works but if you tell a member to come to me or run to me when you are across the different areas of the map, nav fails. Something prevents it from going area to area

Same thing for me in CC. Set up to camp spiders outside of the dwarf fort with no issues, nav works perfectly, pulls all mobs within camp range without incident. Tried to set up in the terror tunnel (other tunnel that runs parallel with the queen area) and kiss pullertank wouldn't pull a thing. Just sat down and said waiting for mobs. Tried the hallway, the room at the end of the hallway, and several spots in between. I thought I had terrors on ignore at first because of the way the puller wouldn't budge.
 
Yeah sometimes it's easier to move. Honestly it sounds like you did a great job trouble shooting before you even posted.

The only other thing you could try is turning Debug messages on once you start KA. Maybe you'd see something about certain mobs being ruled out for "no nav path" or something.

@Tahur If you right click on one of the mobs that you think should be getting pulled does it pull?
I have noticed a similar situation a few times, but I have not been able to reproduce it. But when I select a mob that is a valid target, the puller seems to get off it's butt and pull.

I tried that. Still won't pull.
 
TOFS floor 6. Will not pull any of the drolvargs in the little rooms. Will only pull the 2 roamers in the hallways.
 
puller role using KA just not doing anything at all for me - tried on bard / bst / war. if i use MQ2WAR though as pullertank then it works just perfectly so its not a mesh issue at all. it seems the issue realy relies on KA.
even with a mob in front of the toon - that toon will not pull it.

I had that problem a while back. My fix was fairly simple. Turn off mq2advpath and just use mq2nav. They are both plugins that I think are auto enabled in Kiss. Seems the conflict. Mq2nav works much better, at least for me.
 
I will try that - thx for the tips. i will monitor mq2melee as well. i wonder if its not something with mq2melee since plugin from chat jsut works perfectly hence i did disregard meshes/pathing issues
 
I had an issue completely the oposite, the puller kept opening doors and getting Stuck in the doorway when trying to return with mob in-tow to camp, found that with a couple extra social buttons: /plugin mq2nav uload OR /plugin mq2nav load I could keep the puller from getting stuck in doors in Plane of Decay by turning it off (forcing line of sight pulls), or Pull anything within range it could find a path to in the undead area outside the library in Neriak 4th by turning it back on to navigate around all the rocks and obstacles.
 
mq2advpath unlaod did not change anything - this being said i used the exact same config few minutes ago in a TBL zone and every was jsut perfectly fine - so the issue occurs for now only in TOFS for me level 6b. i will report if i get it in other zones or tofs floor.
 
Try getting a debug log using /debugall. What you listed above was only a partial log when it comes to detail.

I guess my next question would be are these the mob you are trying to ignore or pull?

In CC, it looks like there is no nav mesh from the section where you jump down above where Crystal Grinder spawns. I've been having the same problem, it won't pull mobs from below that little lip.
